I've been meaning to check this place out; the whole area is full of great Ethiopian food. I got the beef tibs and a drip coffee. Portion was perfect -- it's a big lunch but not overwhelmingly so. The tibs were rich and spicy, with a side of salad that cut through the savory notes and cooled the building fire through the meal.

I actually typically don't drink coffee! But the drip was very smooth and not really bitter. I enjoyed it, though the caffeine made quick work of my stomach :)

There were just a couple folks there when I visited. The ambiance is very relaxed, rather quiet. It's super comfortable. The staff are also really calm, friendly, and helpful.

Highly recommended!

Met a friend for an event in the Skillman area, then looked up a nearby coffee sop. Lucky for us we found Sini. Coffee was amazing, service was excellent. I wish this shop was near my home so I could go often.

OK, so my favorite drink here is the Spriz. I order it just the way they make it. The coffee/tea mix is amazing... this place just isn't very welcoming at all. I haven't seen a single smile and I have visited here 3 times. Also, I get really awkward stares each time I come like I'm not welcome or suppose to be here. But this place has great potential... just get your coffee and go. The place to eat is at the restaurant/grocery store about two doors down. That's where the picture of merchandise came from that is on this page. The family that owns it is super friendly and welcoming. Just my opinion... You'll see when you go.

Really nice place to grab some really well made coffee and Ethiopian food. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Just as a tip, if you want to do the jebena coffee it's a 7 person coffee ceremony. If you're thinking about trying this place go for it!

I love this place. I am from Eritrea and this is one of the closest Ethiopian restaurants to me. The food is absolutely delicious and it’s nice for when I want a taste of home. Try the beef tibs, you won’t be disappointed! አመሰግናለሁ

If you go, please oh.please order the Jebena. It is a coffee ritual that is spectacular. Of course the coffee was strong but full of soooo much flavor and culture. They roast the beans right in front of you.
