Opening Bell Coffee

Great open mic thats been running for years. Comfy, come as you are feel with a mix of small tables and couches. Good coffee and decent tea selection with basic cafe food offerings. Your local coffee hang that you hope keeps kicking for years.

Excellent place!!! Went there for the first time to listen to one of our favorite groups (The Trouble Notes) play there. Super nice coffee house and the best manager/owner (Pascale - she). The food all looked and smelled awesome!!!

They removed all of their benches and couches, which really detracts from the atmosphere. The coffee is nothing special, leaving it as a good option in an area without many, but not as good of a coffee shop as before.

Honestly, I like the place and the setting. But my husband was not too impressed with the coffee. We are probably a bit spolied on this.
The tea was pretty good though. The waffle was way too sweet .

Great place and not as small as some people might get the first impression of. I swung by this place earlier this week around 1:30 pm with my significant other and we both played dominoes and worked a little on our phones and ate a light breakfast before heading out to tour The Southside apts and get on with the rest of our day. I must say, it was nice. There are a few other people on laptops and the like studying/working etc. The mood was creative and bright and I loved how the two themes “stocks & music” mildly complimented each other and seemed to belong together. Well the place is called “Opening Bell” after all!! We’ll be back sometime. Thanks for the nice kolache and the croissants.

11/30/19 Opening Bell has great atmosphere and entertainment. Unfortunately, we waited nearly an hour for a COLD SANDWICH. The place was nearly empty when we ordered, before the live music started. We were there to see our friends perform. The order was placed at 6:13pm. We got our hot chocolate around 6:45 and the sandwich at about 7:00pm. If our friends were not performing, we would have demanded a refund and left.

Super comfortable place! Very eclectic and cute. Super friendly workers. I had an iced chai latte and it was amazing! My friend had a cafe au lait and loved it as well. Sandwiches are delicious as well! Whenever I am in Dallas I will definitely come back!

Opening Bell Coffee is the heart of the Cedars! This place feels like home. Great atmosphere and awesome staff! The live music and wine selection make this place a great evening hang out as well! Avocado toast is so yummy! Try the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant!! Best spices chai latte in Dallas!

I've always had a great time when visiting Opening Bell. Great coffee, great service, and a relaxing environment to meet up with friends or knock out some work on a laptop. I've never had a bad experience here and for quite some time this was my "home office away from home."
