This place has a nice southern Americana feel. It has an antiquish, historical (Pro Republican), wilderness all in one feel to it. If you're big into politics and not a fan of Trump, I'd stay away. The food was pretty good, but not overwhelming good. The pricing is ok. The people were definitely welcoming. I had the fajita baked potato. It was good. I'd definitely come back to try something else.

This place is an iconic step in history. It is what you imagine when you hear the word diner. The food was delicious. Coffee was awesome. And the waitstaff was so friendly. We'll make a trip to Crockett just for this place.

Good Country Cooking. Their Catfish is awsome. If and when I ever pass that way again that will certainly be one of my stops

Great homestyle cooking and great service for an affordable price!

The wait staff here is very friendly. The food is consistently bad.

We have tried this cafe more often than it deserves. Regrettably they disappoint every time.

The decor of Republican campaign memorabilia coupled with an open floor plan feels nostalgic, but Its hard to enjoy it because the place is so dirty. There are huge clumps of dust hanging from the decorations, the walls, the Moose heads, etc.

We love this place, great food, friendly helpful staff and the Ambiance!!! I give it 5 stars.

Enjoyed our lunch stop here on our road trip. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, the staff is nice, and the patty melt delicious.

Pretty cool decor and atmosphere. The place is huge and had a good lunch crowd. Service was good and fast. The food was fair, but overpriced. CFS on a bun, fries, tea and a candy bar was $16 at lunch. Most of the entrees were around $9-11 but didn't include any side items (fries or onion rings)

Loved every aspect of this place. Good portions of food, reasonably priced, and fast, super friendly service. A hardware store in another life, this restaurant is a blast from the past, with nostalgia everywhere you look. Do yourself a favor, and stop in anytime you're in the area. You'll be glad you did.

We stopped here on one of our frequent trips between Nacogdoches and College Station. It's a great little place with friendly folks and good food. It was a tad expensive but I will be back.
