Disclaimer: if political yard signs, stickers, memorabilia offend you, you have been warned and you may want to try somewhere else. Moosehead has that quaint, small town, home-y feel to it. Rustic setting on the square in Crockett. Fantastic customer service as they were attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The coffee i had was freshly brewed and tasted great: not too strong and not too light. The waitress had recommended the BBQ potato which is the item picture. The potato was a larger size than I normally see at the store. Ingredients were fresh. This potato was delicious. BBQ sauce,, meat, cheese, butter and chives dress this potato. My buddy had the chicken sandwich which he said was perfect. Pricing was decent for what we received. Thanks!!! I'll definitely be coming back.

Go see Joni Clonts. She is the owner of Moosehead Cafe. We appreciate everything Joni does for our community. Great food, service and atmosphere

Such a great and interesting place! Loved the food, people and everything on the walls! Absolutely loved the stuff for sale! Here is what I did with the cup I bought to update it. I'll be back for the food and another cup!

Dropped by here for a quick bite in 2014 and made an unusual request from the owner for cupcakes for co-workers. They didn't usually make cupcakes, but the owner obliged and provided a box for a minimal price. Very kind of her.

This place has Trump memorabilia everywhere. Personally I like to eat in a non-political environment. That’s like trying to push your religion down everyone’s throat. Plus they make political charged post on FB of all places! Ridiculous.. Gonna be a hard pass on Moosehead from now on.

Who doesn't love going some place and feeling like a local? Historic building, comfort food menu and decor that makes you feel like you're in the town museum. The staff and other patrons were super friendly. Oh, and the food was delicious. If you're in the area, definitely worth a stop! (Unless you might be offended by old, Republican campaign signs)

The atmosphere was that eclectic, General Store vibe, which is great! My daughter wasn't thrilled with all the animal heads staring at her while she ate. We are in animal rescue so, that's understandable. She ordered the chicken strips, and I got the baked potato w/chicken fajita meat. I'm thinking the cafe may cater to the senior crowd. There was no salt on the fries, and the chicken strips were completely bland. They were beautiful, hand cut strips of chicken breast, fried to golden perfection...moist and tender inside, crunchy on the outside. They looked wonderful. They had zero taste. It was very disappointing. My baked potato was pretty standard. It was on the small side for making it a meal. It would have been great as a side. The chicken fajita meat was yummy, there just wasn't a lot of it. We'll probably go back and order something different. Maybe their burgers are awesome?
