Saigon's Civet Cafe

The chillest most friendly spot to enjoy coffee which is amazing in itself but the staff and atmosphere is amazing..

I've been excited to come to this cafe ever since it opened up. The servers were extremely friendly, the atmosphere was beautiful, , and loved the delicious coffee and sandwiches. There is a wide selection of goodies here ranging from more traditional Vietnamese coffee to something more familiar. I'm hoping they'll extend their hours so that I can come in the evening to study and drink more coffee. Will definitely be coming back to bring my family/friends!

Been here 2 days in a row. Tried two different brewing methods for their robusta beans and man, these guys know how to roast and brew robusta bean coffee.

Smooth, bold, and mocha like flavor.

They even pull espresso using robusta beans. I never had that before in my life. The crema was ecstasy.

Their iced hazelnut latte is fire.

You can see the passion the staff here has for coffee as they are highly informed and provide detailed but not exhausting explanations about their products.

Wish I lived around here. Just wanted to try a café that in-house roasts their own beans.

Aside from robusta, they still carry and roast their own arabica beans.

Was on a road trip, decided to stop in and was instantly greeted with friendly hellos and how-do-you-dos from behind the counter.
Since this was our first time in, we asked for recommendations and decided on a cup of their house roast Vietnamese beans and their coconut latte, hot.
The latte had me hearing a heavenly chorus with every sip (it made me really, really happy) and the drip was nice and robust. Food was also delicious. There was lots of natural light, jazz playing and nice decor. Also can’t go wrong with a take-a-book/leave-a-book bookcase too.
Will definitely stop by again when I find myself anywhere near this spot.

This place has amazing flavors, a great atmosphere, and very nice employees! The panda tea I had was exquisite and the steam bun was very flavorful. Theres also a little game place for you to have fun here with friends. I highly recommend this place!

When I walked in I was greeted by the two friendly batistas as soothing jazz played in the background, instantly feeling comforted and relaxed - amazing energy. I then ordered the pate chaud which had a wonderful buttery, light and crispy pastry stuffed with very flavorful spiced beef that was very fresh and hot. While I ate that they meanwhile were making the house Bahn mi which was served in chewy bread roll stuffed with delicious BBQ pork with pickled and fresh vegetables. One of the best experiences I have had in a coffee shop.

Absolutely delicious! The coffee tastes amazing and the staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this little coffee shop and will definitely be coming back! 😁
