Saigon's Civet Cafe

Recommend the brunch boné! One of the best I've had in a long time! All of the coffee choices have been great, my favorite is the coconut latte. The staff is also very friendly and prompt!

Great coffee, great service! Knowledgeable baristas with delicious concoctions, really nice machines including an in-house roaster. The owner was very friendly and inviting. They also had a great variety of homemade Vietnamese snacks.

This place was so wonderful! The best Vietnamese coffee I have had in Corpus hands down. The aesthetic of the space is so inviting and clean. This is a great place to study or just spend time with friends. My husband and I spent quite awhile playing chess on their board! The staff was all very nice and informative about what they had to offer. If you haven’t visited yet you definitely should.

The baristas were so lovely! It was very clear to me they were passionate about their coffee (which was amazing btw). This coffee shop is extremely charming.

The place has wonderful coffee. We could smell it roasting before we walked in the door. Yes they roast the raw beans in the shop! Go see them soon!

When they first opened they had great customer service. Now when I go they are sitting down out where customers sit and are just talking loudly. Once I enter they get up and go behind the register. It just doesn’t look good. They also didn’t ask me if I was dining in or taking out and assumed I wasn’t staying inside and made my drink in a to go cup. If I wanted a to go cup I would go to a corporation like Starbucks. The whole appeal of going to a local coffee shop now feels a bit off to me here. I enjoy sitting and having an actual mug like coral bean- and they usually ask me if I’m dining in or taking it to go which saigon should do. I hope they make some changes because they used to be more customer service centered.
