Stopped here on our way to Austin and it was really good! Food was fresh and came out quickly. Only wish we were coming back this way because we would stop in again!

A true gem! You have the feel of "back in the day" coke floats, fries and onion rings and hamburgers! They use fresh hamburger meat! The food is great..the store part and pharmacy are great, they have good gifts and the old decor is amazing..

Sweet little slice of Texas home cookin and hospitality. We were passing through looking at some land west of Coleman and saw the pictures of what looked to be a great hamburger and onion rings. No disappointments there. Friendly service with a smile, treated strangers like family. Food was fantastic. My wife loved looking around the store at all the different items they had for sale. We will be back again if we are in the area. Give them a try!

Awesome onion rings, and ice cream sodas that I haven't tasted since the 70's. Very friendly staff, food delish and love the history on the walls. The pharmacy was right behind the dining area which was very convenient for us since we had colds and was able to grab some medicine while we waited for our food, which didn't take long. Lots of treasures throughout the store. Would definitely go back, just for their buttermilk pie.

This is truly a hidden Gem. I got the Owlvis burger and requested to get the grilled onions extra carmalized which many restaurants fail to do when asked. They were perfect.
Another in our party got the patty melt and stated it was really good. The side of onion rings and homemade chips were delicious.
The portions were very generous as was the price. We did not have room for desert but they looked amazing as well.
We will definitely be back.

Old diner in a drug store?! Yep, and it's pretty cool. A complete throwback to a simpler time. The folks are very nice and the service was outstanding. Plenty to choose from (breakfast is great too!). You must try the owl burger!

Classic drug store soda shop. A lot of history in this place. Had a meatloaf sandwich and a shake and fries, all really good. Nothing fancy but you can tell they take pride in it. Very friendly service.
And aside from the food it's one of those places that has everything you need. Fun place to look around.
Skip the fast food chains when driving through and stop at a great local place.

Wonderful place to eat. Staff treat you like family, the food is delicious, and it is overall a really cool experience. Highly HIGHLY recommend. The Philly Cheese Steak is delicious!

Looking on Google maps for a place to have breakfast as we headed back home from San Angelo on Saturday morning. The Owl Drug Store popped up and it seemed like a good match. Oh boy, it was so much more than I expected. Good food, great prices, friendly people and neat things to look at and buy in the store. While I shopped my husband sat out front on the bench and visited with a local. The only disappointment was that I didn't have room in my belly for something from the soda fountain. Maybe next time because we will definitely be back.

Stopped off because of the advertisement of an "old time soda fountain" and found so much more. We were warmly greeted by the cashier at the front of the store. We wandered back to the diner area, which was very crowded, and was greeted by employees and customers alike. I had the prickly pear hamburger with a root beer float and a "Law-tay" (latte) for desert. Food was good, as well as unique, and well priced. When we left we received a hug from our waitress. A real fun place. We will return every time we travel in this direction. They claim to being the oldest drug store in Texas and have tons of antiques to back it up.
