Shipley Do-Nuts

Nice donuts place. Service could be better. I went on June 23 after the mandatory mask in Harris county went in effect. A customer was getting an order without a mask on,and the employees were calling him using first name as he is an established customer. Everyone should followed the rules to protect others.

Has the best sausage/cheese/jalapeño and sausage/cheese kolaches of any Shipley’s or any other doughnut shop. I’ve visited Shipley’s all over the place and these are the best! Shipleys needs to fine out and follow everywhere!

I've tried not to write this review but after this morning I have no choice. First let me say I've been eating Shipley Doughnuts since I was a child and I'm now in my 50s. I've eaten at Shipleys all over Houston and many throughout Texas. Unfortunately for me, the Shipleys next to me is also the worst I've ever eaten at. Let me start with my all time favorite, a regular plain glaze doughnut. For some reason the glaze is always light compared to other locations. I've mentioned that before to no avail. Second, and this has happened many times, sausage cheese jalapeño kolaches are so inconsistent. Today I purchased two of them. In both kolaches I had one jalapeño. A nearly 5 inch long kolache and one jalapeño. I had to add my own from fridge. Sorry Shipleys on El Dorado. It's doughnuts and kolaches. How hard can consistency be?

The kolaches was old, cold, hard and the bread was crumbling. The staff on duty was very rude when I was telling her and she hung up in my face twice. The the man working with her claimed he didn't know the manager he was just helping her. He may not have known the manager personally but he could have asked for their name. Very disappointed, I promised my grandchildren some fresh Shipley's donuts for breakfast and it ruined my granddaughter's birthday breakfast.

I really like this Shipley's🤗❤. The Kolaches were hot and so were the donuts and coffee was good. Service was good and I like when they ask if i want cream for my coffee. They are always nice there. Thank you.

Staff here are excellent. Food tastes great. Wish the owners would fix up the place and make it look less old. Most people don't even know there is a Shipley location here because place looks so old and neglected. All that said amazing crew that aruns the shop makes me come back again and again.

Doughnuts were not as fresh as I hoped they would be. This location needs some TLC, it looks tired.

the donut holes were about half the size of those i've had at other locations. my blueberry iced donut didn't have glaze on both sides, which is also something other locations typically do.

Very polite staff, also the other guy in line was cool let me go ahead of him. Making for a better experience for my visit. Store was clean and food was delicious
