However, some customers have expressed disappointment in the cleanliness of the restaurant. One customer noted that the tables and floors were dirty, and the establishment was "inundated with flies." We have been to the rooted fork several time. It has always been a great experience but this most recent time going, it was a less than ideal experience. First.... It was very muggy and hot inside the restaurant. And There were flies everywhere. Also my table didn't get the drinks they ordered until well after we had our food. When our food was brought to our table (pancakes) there was no syrup. When I asked for some it was at least another ten minutes before they brought it to us. These are minor issues but for the 70$ it cost for 3 people, I would expect a little bit better service and conditions. I will continue to eat here with the hope that it will be a better experience next visit.

My family has come here a couple of times. BIIIGGG plates full of food. I once made the mistake of ordering my daughter her own plate, we could not finish all of the food. Everything we've tried is delicious. Love a small business.

This was a pleasant surprise for us. Tried it for the first time, food was great and the weather was nice so we enjoyed the patio. They also allow pets on the patio! An enjoyable experience.

If there was ever a God, this place proved it. The food was so divine, if it hasn't already it will be one of the 7 wonders of the world. If you love and Texas and can't decide to either to take a trip in state or go somewhere like the grand canyon trust me just go here, better investment in your money. Thank you for the experience!

Nice little spot outside of San Antonio for breakfast and brunch.

Hands down the best food of my entire trip. It was easy to see that all the customers loved coming to the restaurant and it wasn't just for the food. The staff was fantastic and hard working. I regret not ordering biscuits to go.

Amazing food & very nice staff. Went to brunch on a Saturday. Little bit of a wait but food came out hot & fresh! Definitely recommend!!

Nothing special here. Food is nothing more special then eating at a iHop or similar. The only difference is the price. This place will run you $60-$70 for a family of 4 to eat breakfast. Which I don't mind if the food is above the norm but the taste of everything was nothing special. Juices are stuff you buy at the grocery, not fresh squeezed. Was very hopeful for something better since there's not a lot of breakfast places around.
