We had such a lovely experience! October 31st was a beautiful day and we enjoyed our brunch on the patio.
Service was expeditious. We barely sat down and our food was brought to us within a few minutes.
Food was tasty, pancakes and coffee were delicious, the staff was very sweet and friendly! We will definitely return!
*Only little thing was that felt a bit rushed by the cashier at the counter, there was no line behind us and visiting for the first time we were taking our time to look over the menu:)

Came here for lunch as have been wanting to try The Rooted Fork for months. Walked in and was immediately greeted by the staff. They explained the menu and the daily special that's not on the main menu. Everything sounded good, but ordered the Curbside Jonny, The Basic Bowl, and Kung Pao Cauliflower. There were about 15 tables that were clean and ready inside, but decided to sit outside to enjoy the weather. There were about 10 benches with umbrellas out front and about 5 tables on a covered porch area. Placed my order and sat outside with my number. Within 10-15 minutes, they brought my order to the table. You don't have a dedicated server, but various staff are walking around the table checking if everything is ok.

All the food was hot and presented nicely. The Curbside Jonny is a double-meat patty melt served on Texas Toast. The meat was juicy and was served with layers of provolone cheese, caramelized onions, bacon, and jalapenos. It was a nice homemade burger with fresh ingredients. The Basic Bowl was a nice light bowl of quinoa with vegetables that helped offset the Curbside Jonny. The quinoa was the base, but it was generously covered with many other fresh vegetables. The surprise hit of the meal was the Kung Pao Cauliflower. They did a great job of replicating Kung Pao Chicken with Cauliflower. The sauce was great and the small pieces of peppers gave it a good amount of heat without being overbearing.

Will definitely come back to try some of the other menu items as I'm sure they'll be just as good this order. Great food and service.

Love the restrooms (kinda random but it does tell you a lot about a place!). I tried the shrimp cake bennies and they were delicious. My wife tried the secret menu (trash plate? Lol I forgot the name) which was scrambled egged with everything on top of crispy tots. Coffee was very good too, great place to stop by for brunch if you are coming into town! Building is super cool too

Excellent service! Food was great. We had the Kids Little Fork and the My Way. For the KLF, the toast came with a strawberry jam that was very bland. For the My Way (chefs way lol), I was asked either breakfast or lunch, spicy or not and any allergies. I chose breakfast, mild spicy and no allergies. Out came cubes of French Toast with strawberries and blueberries. Excellent presentation of both plates. The French toast was very tasty but not what I was expecting. I guess based on the questions, I was expecting more of an egg plate but it was a chance I took! 🤷🏽‍♂️🤣 Too much sweet for me. My girlfriend loved it. I’m just not a sweets for breakfast guy. We’ll definitely be back…. 🍴

Friendly staff, busy place because the food is great. Love the outdoor seating on the wrap around porch. Try the honey, lavender coffee.

I can't think of a single negative thing to say about this place. Service was amazing, food was incredible. I wish I lived closer so I could come back more than just on vacation.

It was nice and quaint. My breakfast was very good, bacon was perfect!! My husband on the other hand had the biscuits and gravy. Lets just say the person at the other table didn't eat his either. The gravy is put on top of the biscuits so when you get to the middle and bottom of the biscuits they are dry. My suggestion would be to open the biscuits and pour the gravy over them, thus avoiding patrons not being able to enjoy their food.
Love the fork displays on the walls.

Food was pretty good, and the service and atmosphere great. I ordered the pancakes with blueberries as well as a side of over medium eggs with bacon. The eggs were over cooked and the pancakes seemed to be a little lite on flavor. The bacon and orange juice were on point. We love Old Town Cibolo and the revitalization effort that has been taking place there!! We will definitely be coming back to Rooted Fork as I know without a doubt the kitchen is still getting their feet under them. No worries, we will see you soon!

My husband and I had breakfast there this morning. We walked in and ordered, sat down and in just a small minute we had our food already. Staff came by to take our plates when done and asked how things were. The food was delicious and filling. Love the decor! We will definitely be back again.
