Very nice staff. There was a mix up with my order and they were cheerful when i asked for help. Have been several times and really enjoyed the coffee, snacks and atmosphere.

A really pleasant place to drink coffee and study. The coffee is of a decent specialty standard and they have some interesting retail offerings.

The drawbacks were a fairly inexperienced barista working the shift alone and thus not having support to answer more detailed questions. Also, they somewhat embarrassingly misspelled Colombia on all of their coffee bags.

Favorite locally roasted coffee!! I buy the beans for coffee at home and also love getting their unique seasonal coffee drinks in the store. The staff is so kind too!

Polite Coffee has my heart! The Kyle House makes for the perfect spot to enjoy some coffee, delicious bakery items, and (maybe) get some work done. The staff has always been so kind and helpful–especially Garrett and Trent! If you're in BCS and in need of some GREAT coffee, definitely come here!

This coffee is incredible! When you buy polite coffee, you are purchasing high quality specialty coffee roasted to perfection! The price point is the most competitive I've seen among upper-echelon coffees. My wife has noticed I'm also much more polite after I've had my cup of Polite.

I’ve been going here for a while and have never been disappointed. I’ve always been met with the friendliest of faces and attitudes. There’s no other shop in BCS as consistent and as welcoming as this one has been for me. Steve and Nathan have been excellent with customer service and care there at the shop and I will definitely be going back anytime I need to study, meet with friends, or just have a great cup of coffee.

If you are looking for another study area and good drinks this is your place. If you love coffee they have it! I am not a coffee drinker but this place has coffee from Ethiopia and Guatamala. Very authentic and the place is a vintage victorian style house. For the Non-coffee drinkers they have tea, chia latte and a drink called the London fog.

Staff and manager are completely ignorant to laws regarding service animals, including service animals in training. I was asked to provide “service dog papers as proof due to health codes” or sit outside in the pouring rain with my service dog. When I informed the manager that his actions were against the law, he continued to stand by his words. I’m very upset. I expect more respect from fellow humans, especially at an establishment where I was a paying customer. I remained calm and polite but the manager seemed otherwise.
Sec. 437.023. SERVICE ANIMALS. (a) A food service establishment, retail food store, or other entity regulated under this chapter may not deny a service animal admittance into an area of the establishment or store or of the physical space occupied by the entity that is open to customers and is not used to prepare food if:
(1) the service animal is accompanied and controlled by a person with a disability; or
(2) the service animal is in training and is accompanied and controlled by an approved trainer.
(b) If a service animal is accompanied by a person whose disability is not readily apparent, for purposes of admittance to a food service establishment, retail food store, or physical space occupied by another entity regulated under this chapter, a staff member of the establishment, store, or entity may only inquire about:
(1) whether the service animal is required because the person has a disability; and
(2) what type of work the service animal is trained to perform.
