Food has so much potential. It was hard to stay objective because the atmosphere wants to persuade you that the food is better than it is. For now, food is okay. Pretty sodium induced. Love the place though. Interior is balanced and comforting. Coffee is good. Service was great and they seem to want to be there. What through me off was the "gratuity". I ate alone and my ticket was $38. I've never been charged a 15% gratuity for a party of one. So beware of that. I tipped my person $16 cash already and had that extra 15% gratuity on top. I probably won't come back again because of that business model, but worth at least a try.

This is an extremely wonderful restaurant. The atmosphere is very comfortable. The staff is exceptionally nice and caring. The owner is very personable and very interactive with the guests. The food is some of the best I've eaten . I highly recommend Chalkboards!!!

Absolutely horrible customer service was running behind to pick up a dish. The representative of the company was extremely rude and said she would only give us our tray because they had already made it. She was extremely frustrated and had no problem letting us know. When you’re a representative of a business you should wear a smile even when frustrated.

My friend and I decided to order our food through the drive thru since it was such a beautiful day and Chalkboards did not disappoint!! We went halfsies on an Italian Grilled Cheese and the Turkey and Swiss Panini and we also shared the Artichoke Dip which was all super delicious and went down Bailey’s to eat, which topped the yummy meal off

I just came in through drive through. And got a turkey club sandwich and hot chocolate. The sandwich was so good with big tomatoes and bacon. A nice size sandwich. The hot chocolate was delicious. Thankyou for great customer service. Will definitely be back.

I payed $3.25 for a small cup of coffee ☕ that tasted like it had been filtered through a dirty sock.. never again

I've always liked this place. Even when it was elements cafe and bakery. The owner is so nice and the food and drinks are good!. One of the best desserts we ever got was the Kentucky bread pudding he makes at the holidays.

Pretty cute cafe in the small city of Bridge City. I got the paradise drink which wasn’t bad, but I will say it doesn’t taste much like pineapple mostly only the blue coconut and coconut water. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was attentive.

Cute little Cafe that is super underrated. Their food is really tasty and everyone in there always serves you with a friendly attitude and smile! Their menu is pretty incredible. There is something there for everybody. 🥰
