We waited for the store to open on a Saturday. At 10 when they opened she went in and purchsed 3 kolaches. And they were very hard and stale. Like they were made 2 days ago,Couldn’t even eat them. The ducks however enjoyed them. You would think a german town like Boene, they could get this right.
The service was subpar and rude. The loud mouthed millennial managing the line lacked manners and basically provided a poor experience. Additionally I did not find the sandwich nor scones to be as great as the reviews from others suggest. I did find the service and food much better around the corner at Little Gretas. I would rate it less should Google provide a sliding scale.
This is a bakery and a coffee house. It is five stars for sure. Everything is delicious and reasonable. We come to Boerne often, just to get out of the big city. This place is a dream. The coffee is awesome and the staff is very friendly and fast. Stop by. They are open Tuesday through Saturday. We love them.
Stumbled upon this place, lured in by the smell of fresh baked bread. We decided to eat lunch here and it instantly became a must stop everytime I visit from now on. Their pork belly and white bean soup on special today is to die for! And of course the bread is incredible! Anoth big plus is they are connected to the Cork and Keg next door, cozy seating and serving delicious blood orange mimosas. Highly highly recommend stopping by whenever you can!
I had never tried Richter’s before and just wanted a quick sandwich and burgers for my team, some thing better than Whataburger. I usually roll my eyes at expensive burgers, especially in Boerne with high $$ tourist traps serving mediocre food, but this food was actually amazing. I’m talking chef prepared, professionally built, top ingredients, blending of flavors that made these simple burgers and BLT a true and rare treat. Better than even anything I’ve received even from Peggy’s. I feel I have finally found a restaurant in Boerne that stands above the rest, and I can’t wait to try more options on their menu. If the menu seems a little pricey at first, the on-point quality makes the food a steal. Just try their BLT or a bacon burger and I’m sure you’ll agree Richter’s is playing in a different league.
So good!! Stopped in while in Boerne. Pretzel Kolache, chocolate chip cookie and sour dough bread were all awesome!!! Peanut butter cookie needed some salt.
Great addition to the Boerne lunch/bakery scene!! Basic baked goods are very good, this place really shines is in offering things that used to be extremely hard to find in town (bagel and lox is a standout!!!) Prices are very fair, and quality is consistently high

Best latte I've ever had. Mixed perfectly, so I was able to drink the entire thing without it getting too sweet at the end. Will be returning!

All the bread and pastries are delicious and the coffee. I recommend everyone to stop by and taste the items they have.
