1836 Café

Awesome little spot that is luckily open when no one else is. Came across this cafe when looking for some breakfast, on a Sunday, when just about everything is close in the area. So glad we found them, they’ve become a fave breakfast spot! While small there is plenty of seating and we’ve never had to wait. Everything is really good, their pancakes and breakfast potatoes are delicious! Highly recommend checking them out!

First time visiting 1836 Cafe this morning. Got a breakfast platter with chicken fried steak for dine in and ordered Togo the hamburger steak and baked potato. Everything tasted great and the service was excellent and friendly. I'll definitely be back and look forward to trying other menu items.

It’s a little easy to miss on the side of the road if you’re not careful to look, but once you know it’s there, you’ll never miss it! It’s the best breakfast around the area for the best price as well. Enjoy the bar inside or dine outside on one of the Texas wood burned tables. On any platform, your meal comes picturesque and delicious. The service is absolutely 5 star and very homey! This place will definitely impress and you will not forget. I love it!

Maybe the best flapjacks I have ever had......the biscuit and gravy was worthy of any meal alone. The homemade chips are beyond belief good! My new favorite place! Try everything!

This place was amazing. The food was fresh and delicious. The waitress and owner where so welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be returning.

Delicious food and the staff is very friendly. The inside is pretty small, but they have an area with a few tables and a counter where you can sit and eat. The decor is neat with old fashioned bottles on shelves lining the top of the walls.

Our family has placed large orders to be picked up and have never had anything missing, even on more complicated orders. Very impressive!

The owners live locally and work there. They are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The wife bakes all of the desserts and the husband makes all of the delicious food in a corner of the restaurant.

The cinnamon rolls are huge and delicious (big enough to share with at least 2 people!) and the hamburgers are some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The mushroom Swiss burger is soooo good!!!! They also have a great breakfast menu.

This place is a hidden gem!! Staff welcomed us with a smile and everyone was right on the ball!! Food was fresh, DELICIOUS and prepared right in front of us!! Everything was super clean! We'll definitely be returning!! Loved the small town charm ❤️

This place is a small whole in the wall seems to be family Owned busines. Ran by extremely nice people. The food was OUTSTANDING! Price was reasonable, and selection was great. I would highly recommend stopping in.

The service was great and the staff were pleasant and attentive! I had ordered a pulled pork burger and some fries and everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. I would absolutely recommended to anyone in the area or anyone wanting to try this place for the first time

***BUT DO NOT GO BY THEIR MENU PRICES On The Internet, They’re INCORRECT!!! Really disappointing!

Kids Burger w/Fries ( because waitress didn’t listen) and charged $13.00 (which also included $1.00 for Cheese)
So, if you’re looking at the internet Prices, you’ll definitely be surprised!

Change your Internet Prices or Honor Them To Keep Your Customers Happy & Pay Attention To You Customers when they order!!

Trying to support your small businesses is not always the right thing to do, especially when they just look at you and say Our Prices Went Up, I Get That, However Correct It On Google FIRST,
Especially when your Senior Citizens that are on a fixed Income!!
