Had a lovely experience. Great coffee, relaxing vibe. Wonderful spot out front to enjoy bustling S Lamar. Large indoor seating toward the back with great patio. We enjoyed a tasty dessert on a whim - a corn cookie. Think Cap’n Crunch in a cookie.

My favorite coffee spot in Austin. Amazing breakfast sandwich, friendly and warm staff, and nice indoor-outdoor environment.

I am visiting out of town and saw this place on tik tok, but highly disappointed. The staff wasn’t very friendly too us, and the food was not good. It was way too pricy for having barely any food on a plate. The bread was so hard we couldn’t even bite into it. We ordered orange juices, but we only were able to drink what we received, no refills. I just wouldn’t recommend this place especially if you’re simply visiting Austin, try somewhere else.

Cute little place on Lamar. Got a cappuccino and a delicious cap rede sandwich. love that people can put their own dishes away here.

I’ll start by saying the food was delicious!
But the atmosphere is a little more complicated.
You see, Patika started as (and still is) a coffee shop. But when they added a nice menu, with really delicious food, without changing up the seating, you get a mixed experience like we did.
It was really crowded and noisy inside, and the seating is too close together to be able to eat a meal comfortably. We ended up sitting outside, which gave us more breathing room, and less noise.
Bottom Line, think of Patika as a place where you can get a great food truck meal and be able to eat inside if you want... But I would love to see the chef open up a real restaurant, because the prices you pay and the experience you get are diverging.

Great coffee and we LOVED the biscuits and chorizo gravy. The chilaquiles were good too, but it was hard to beat those biscuits and gravy!! Their muffins were also phenomenal.

Not a fan of the coffee. It's too bittter for my taste. But the staff is super friendly.

I came around 4pm on a Friday and unfortunately they were sold out of everything except their savory biscuits and cookies, so I got one each of the biscuits (kimchi cheddar, chorizo manchego, and French onion) and a chai latte to go. My favourite was by far the chorizo manchego, but the other two were delicious as well, with crispy exteriors and fluffy, moist interiors. The chai latte was light on the chai but tasty otherwise. Will try to go earlier in the morning next time I’m in town.
