There's no shortage of good coffee shops in Austin, Texas and Palomino Coffee sets the bar high. I stopped in for a Sunday morning breakfast and here's my experience:
1) Coffee: They brew Flat Track Coffee and have a full menu of drinks. I ordered a vanilla latte with whole milk. It came out within a few minutes with beautiful latte art and a smooth finish. It was one of the best lattes I've had in Austin.
2) Food: They have a number of pastries and breakfast tacos. Since I was hungry, I ordered a doughnut with a flaxseed glaze and a gluten-free breakfast taco with scrambled eggs, corn and roasted pepper. Both were really good and my breakfast taco came filled to the max and with house made salsa.
3) Space: If you're into design, you'll love this spot. The inside has a minimalistic Southwestern theme and it's beautiful. The inside is open with several types of seating. There's also an outdoor patio.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Austin! Loving the Santa Fe vibe and their interior design. I'm addition to the coffee bar menu, there's also a wide selection of local products for you to shop. I ordered lavender honey latte and the pecan taste goes really well with it.
All staff I met was friendly. And they do a really good job on the music playlist as well. Highly recommend!

This cafe was incredible. My bf and I came to Austin for a little weekend trip and this place was highly recommended to us. I got a cortado and he got the matcha latte, both were great! For food, we got the vegan vanilla bean donut and a couple of their breakfast tacos. The food was literally amazing. I can't wait to come back when I return to Austin. Not to mention the vibes were immaculate!

Palomino coffee is trying to set itself apart in a city with so many amazing coffee spots! Here is an honest rating about its various aspects - Taste of latte - 5 stars, they brew Flatrack and it’s hands down amazing, ambience and space - 5 stars, love the decor, plants and the whole Santa Fe vibe with the record players and coffee bean sacks and the roasting machinery, cost - 4 stars and staff - about a 3.5 - not very welcoming, maybe they were having a bad day, a little grumpy. More in-depth, I love that they serve Flatrack beans which are generally a little on the expensive side - about $22-24. I’m a fan of Barrett’s coffee and I don’t think anyone can beat them when it comes to beans and value for money. The latte was amazing and very well done, absolutely no complains there but a $.50 each for takeout paper cups? That’s didn’t jive with me especially when we weren’t even told about it during checkout - odd. The ambience is calm and quiet with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well as good music playing - loved the record player. They do sell soaps and other items as well along with drinks, beans and pastries. It is worth visiting if you love exploring new coffee spots in and around Austin but not sure I will come back here regularly.

I love this well thought out, bohemian-style cafe. Business, here, is extremely well; luckily, they have their system down to a t and move the line (if there is one) quickly.
Things you should know:
I. PARKING
There's a free private parking lot out front with available spaces, even when the coffee shop is at capacity. So don't stress it.
II. SERVICE
Efficient and artistic (?). I think artistic would be a good word to describe their latte talent. The glasses are deep, which makes their skills even more impressive in my opinion ~ it's much easier to make a design in a shallow cup. Not to mention, their glassware here is simple but perfect with the surrounding esthetic. Great job to the designer..!
III. QUALITY
I've only had the coffee to vouch for ~ it won't disappoint. At all.
IV. CAPACITY
Holy cow, I must have arrived at the worst time. It was terribly crowded at the a.m. on a weekday. I tried to avoid the weekend rush but that wasn't a success. It was one of the situations where you had to interrupt someone from enjoying their solitude and ask to sit by them. But hey, there WERE available seats so that's all that matters.

Love the decoration and ambience of the place, great for reading and working while enjoying a great quality third-wave coffee. Their latte was amazing. The only problem I've had is when they roast coffee in the premises as it can become loud for a while, but that doesn't happen often.

How aesthetic is this coffee shop? Had a short two day stay in Austin and I couldn’t miss out on the opportunity to have my breakfast here. The Minimalistic Adobe Southwestern vibe makes this coffee shop truly one of a kind. Opted to try out the Cardomom Mocha and Chocolate Croissant and I was left more than satisfied. Palomino Coffee is the place to be at least once during any visit to the Austin area.

The award for the best coffee shop in Austin goes to this wonderful place ☕️ 🏆 With professional baristas serving best coffee/espresso/matcha drinks, and gorgeously-designed interior, Palomino is my favourite cafe in ATX. They use the best coffee beans, brewed perfect, to make their coffee/espresso drinks; additionally, they have donuts in weekends. Not to mention this place is very Instagram worthy! Moreover, lots of free parking available.

We had a blueberry cappuccino, single origin espresso, and a cortado. The espresso for all the drinks was almost perfect. Compared to most shops we go to, this one executed with consistency and the staff was kind.
