Once Over Coffee Bar

The insufferable hipster-manchild behind the counter was condescending and rude to me while I was here. After receiving my order, I walked away from the counter and near the back of the place, and had a private conversation about how the row of art near us was terrible scribble scratch. (It was literally scribbled crayola on an unframed piece of construction paper selling for $80.00)
He took it upon himself to walk past me and mumble, "Why don't you read the artist description first instead of being judgmental?" not even stopping to make eye contact with me as he said it, or give me a chance to respond. He then does another drive-by again, and once again without stopping, mumbled: "The artist is disabled. That's why it is so expensive."

Is one not justified in judging a piece of artwork for its aesthetic value? I should remain neutral both in the presence of a Giuseppe Crespi and a scribbled piece of paper? A disability somehow raises the value of a product or service? That's the most pretentious thing I have ever heard. I truly am sorry you're 35 and still pouring coffee working for tips.

Good coffee, laid back atmosphere, and friendly baristas make for a perfect coffeeshop destination! The Wifi is pretty solid, and the back deck is a great hangout spot in nice weather.

Perfect for studying or working, they have a nice back deck, and plenty of seating inside (with plenty of plugs to back it up)! The coffee is delicious and the barista was really nice.

This place is so cute, hekka calm vibes . Tasty coffee. Don’t mistake the baristas’ for having that typical snooty standoffish attitude, it’s actually monk-like energy that they have absorbed from the great tree auras that they are surrounded by.

Location was great. Definitely one of the more mellow places to hang out. No crazy line and plenty of places to sit. Coffee wasn't anything special but I'm sure theyve got more worth trying.

Cool little coffee shop with some great coffee. The barista seemed to have better stuff to do than make my order, but it still came out good. The parking is a little tight.

Good coffee but I think this place is over-rated. It's really not all that unique except for the back patio area, which is beautiful if you're looking to have a cup of joe surrounded by trees along the creek.

As of right now, they've made the best cappuccino I've had in the city (and I've been to plenty of the coffee shops). They use Cuvée Coffee and have some talented baristas. The only thing I would change here is getting the baristas to kick up the friendliness a notch.
