Amazing coffee shop with a cute ambiance and great spaces for chilling and working. Its pet friendly.

The chorizo breakfast tacos are up there with the best in town. And that’s saying a lot in Austin. Unfortunately, they often run out of them by 9am, so get there early.

I love the easy walk up experience at this coffee stop. Located within The Carpenter Hotel, but with its own separate entrance. Since, it’s on a quiet street near Lamar Blvd., popping in is super easy. As long as there are tacos - we are good 👍🏼 and they have a good selection, also their salsa is delicious! They also sell merchandise from
The hotel. During “normal times” the couch seating and record player was a nice option.

I think we came here almost everyday while we were in Austin it’s THAT GOOD. Staff is amazing and so friendly and the coffee?? Just so damn good. They also have pastries and breakfast tacos. Good little patio on the side, steps and tables to sit at out front and there’s an adorable interior space if you wanna sit inside or work too. Love it

Relaxing environment and very cute space. It was a great opportunity to get out of the house and work from a new location today. The coffee is also delicious.

Sip back, relax. You’re your own carpenter when you’re here! Create something amazing in this throwback atmosphere. Great coffee!

A bad coffee shop in Austin, thankfully the exception to the rule. Untrained staff are poring mediocre coffee into take away cups, doing side talk while treating customers like numbers, wasting good and expensive coffee machines. Overpriced menu and very slow service, Carpenter is just the nice deco with none of the quality.

My favorite drink is the Ladybird which is an orange latte, very refreshing and was garnished with fresh zest. I've also tried their macchiato which they serve the traditional Italian way and were able to accommodate for my lactose intolerance by subbing the scoop of milk foam for oat milk. My friend tried the arnold palmer, refreshing and a little bit on the less sweet side of that scale. The cinnamon twists were delightful and the apple scone was very moist. Overall the atmosphere is relaxed as many of the hotel guest come through the cafe all morning.

Great location for a coffee or meal. We stopped by for a coffee.
The vintage style is so beautiful! With many details and very comfortable chairs.
