Better Half Coffee & Cocktails

Came for a work lunch. Parking was easy, but the lot can fill up quickly and stalls aren’t clearly marked. Outside seating is nice with lots of room and the inside looks great. The staff was kind and attentive. Place seemed dog friendly as there were lots of folks outside with their pets. As long as they’re well behaved and on leash, there shouldn’t be a problem.

The food tasted great! All 5 of us were happy with our meals. I can see how the prices get out of hand as our 5 items were $86. Would be a nice place to splurge for a tasty lunch.

Swung by here on my lunch break and got a biscuit and buttermilk pie to go. The biscuit was warm, flaky, and incredible, and it paired perfectly with jalapeño honey butter. The buttermilk pie was good with a nice buttery crust, though I would’ve preferred a smoother custard filling. Will definitely return to try the breakfast sandwich next time.

Amazing interior. I'd love to come here more often because it's next to work, but the menu choices are seriously meh. It's a 2x a month at best. The burger and sangria are good deals at the 3pm happy hour. I'm hoping the brewery they have been working on has better lunch options.

Very nice happy hour and wonderful place to enjoy food and drink inside and out. Their biscuits are wonderful and I loved the cheeseburger. 100% worth it. I will be back and look forward to tasting more of the menu.

Take out was first class. Great ending spot for a bike ride near the river. We loved the fantastic fried chicken, made even better by the dipping sauces. The beet ketchup was even better than I was expecting.

The croissants melt in your mouth. Try them yourself.

I had the chicken burger (nonspicy) and it was amazing probably the best chicken burger I've ever had. our friends had shrimp pasta which was a great summer pasta light but flavorful. Chips and queso were great too. My friend had a CTO cocktail and it was great, very well made. My wife had a margarita and she loved it. I would recommend and will be back.

Great atmosphere, not-so-great eats.

Brought my dad in for a nice brunch. First time for the both of us. Chips and queso were pretty legit, coffee was, honestly, terrible. I had their signature breakfast sandwich which was pretty good, but came out cold after an hour and 15 min wait. I know Sundays are busy, but Jesus didn't expect to sit at 11 and eat at 12:20pm. Dad tried his best to muscle through the waffle iron hash, but ultimately couldn't finish as it was incredibly bitter. I tried a little for myself and can confirm his experience. The atmosphere is really pleasant which made the wait somewhat bearable. Friendly staff, really nice folks. Their kitchen could probably use some work. Organization appeared to be all over the place. I'm gonna try this place again in the future. Hoping this experience was just a fluke.

Wonderful! Had nice lunch outside here today- food was outstanding and weather was nice as well which was a bonus. We both had the same thing and both loved it- had the Better Half Salad with the chicken and shared an order of the hush puppies. All incredible. Staff was friendly and accommodating - will be back. I snapped a pic of our salad, it was awesome!!!
