Went here for the first time the other day. I only got their drip coffee but it was delicious. I would definitely love to try their lattes another day. Also got the pumpkin bread and it was also yummy. It was more spiced than your average pumpkin bread but for me that was welcome. I can see myself coming here often to support a local business instead of waiting in line at Starbucks. They also have food here that lol forward to trying. The service was quick and friendly.

I've only gotten the food from there and was sorely dissapointed in the quality for the price. The panini I got (the chicken tandoori) was tiny, had barely any chicken, vegetables, or toppings for $13 ! They went wild with the tamarind, it was like eating a sour patch kids in my sandwich. My friend got a bowl that was a similar price to an Honest Mary's bowl but way less toppings and flavor. I didn't give 1 star because I haven't tried there coffee. Probably won't go back for food that's for sure.
Also got there dessert Calsone and it's raw dough in the middle. The filling is good but it doesn't take a genius to mix Nutella and fruit.

One of the personal was not friendly and the other wasn't very informed about the ingredients of the foods they have. I googled vegan places and this came up and so I came here with friends but the options are not that great. Unbelievably they didn't have vegan cheese which is expected if you're in a small town but not in Austin. I like that it's a quiet place and the space is pretty nice. I wish they had better vegan options and more friendly staff.
Update: the owner was very nice and considered the review which makes me feel very good about the business.
**Thank you for the offer, I didn't want any trouble for your employees. I would greatly appreciate if you just make your nice place more vegan friendly and it's so easy to do that. Thanks for your response :)

Best breakfast taco I've had in a long time! Great salsa, too. Also the latte was SO creamy (whole milk) and very tasty. Loved everything except for the rap music that was playing too loudly. Thankfully they have a patio. Highly recommend.

Used to go here quite often, but now a cup of black coffee is over 4 bucks. The last two times the coffee was filled with grounds too. Better off going to a gas station for regular coffee than here.
Also previously, Ive ordered an ice black coffee and they charged me nearly $7, the price of a specialty cold brew. It seems as if they are trying to upcharge customers

Great vibe, excellent service, and a damn fine coconut milk latte!

I tried Barley Bean for the first time yesterday and liked it so much that I came back today!
I got the draft latte with vanilla & oat milk and an order of oatmeal my first time, and this morning I got an iced lavender vanilla latte w/ oat milk and another order of the oatmeal. Both coffees were delicious, but the lavender vanilla was especially good. The oatmeal is great, nice and thick and topped with fresh berries and a really tasty almond crunch. On top of good food/drink, the staff was polite and I got my order quickly. I will 100% be back! :)

Went in for a quick cup of coffee. The gentleman that was up front was very nice and helpful. They had plenty of different flavors to choose from but not a lot of breakfast items. I got a breakfast taco and the turkey bacon was under cooked ( not crispy, very chewy). The coffee was a bit on the bitter side but was drinkable. Cute place though. I went early in the am...it might be better later in the day.
****RESPONCE TO OWNER ****
I can understand about the turkey bacon, just wasn't expected. And yes a bit dry, but nothing to terrible. Thank you for responding!

We loved their house blend espresso in the latte. One of the places that I've seen offer pour over experiences with a wide variety of beans to choose from and various pour over methods. The quinoa bowl and caprese were good as well. Highly recommend if you work remotely. They have space and the fuel (food, coffee etc) to get you through the day.

I love the staff here! Clean neat and they have food, wine, beer.
The setting is like a movie set. Try the mocha latte with vanilla. You get more bang for the price, if you sit and drink out of the coffee mug.
