I got the honey lavender latte and my husband got a nitro cold brew that I’m not remembering the name of but it had cinnamon and honey. They were both excellent. I also got breakfast tacos, my husband got a breakfast sandwich and my kids all were happy with the baked goods.

I drove over 120 miles to visit some new friends this past weekend. This was the place they decided on. We were there for about an hour and a half.
A couple of us got there early enough to get in on the end of brunch. I got the croissant sandwich with eggs, bacon, and cheddar with a cappuccino. My friend got a pizza to share and another got a calzone (sorry, no pic.)
The sandwich was super flaky, the bacon was nice and chewy, the cheese was appropriately gooey... That was a tasty sammich!
The pizza looked amazing, too. It must have been because the leftovers went in a box to go, as did the remainder of the calzone.
Parking looked like it could be a bit iffy on busy days, but I lucked out and got one right by the entrance.
The location was easy to find, which was really helpful for an out-of-towner.
The staff that I got to speak to were pleasant and helpful.
If it happens we plan another meet-up I would happily go back. They had a good selection of yummy sounding foods, beer, and coffee, and I felt like I got a decent meal for a decent price at a nice place to visit.

We stopped in here while on the way to Starbucks and are glad we came across this place instead. Great coffee, atmosphere, chill music, and a lot of great food/lunch/brunch options. Of course, since this is Austin it wouldn't be complete without a great selection of craft beer on tap. The house coffee was tasty and the service was great.

I paid $15 for an açaí bowl, which was just a bowl of oats (not granola, just oats) with about a spoonful of açaí on top and a few berries. Staff was friendly when I picked up my order but I was very disappointed with the food.

I don’t ever write reviews because I get that things can’t always be perfect. But this is theee saddest sandwich I’ve ever seen. MAYBE 1oz of turkey, if that. Do better please! Two stars only bc the bread was delish.

Greeeeat place, especially for brunch. Great coffee, drinks, beer selection, and food. The staff is great, inside /outside area, and good location.
You can even buy a pack of smokes
Parking is a little limited

Just stopping in for a cup of house-roasted coffee, which is pretty darn good! Can’t speak for anything else, the beer selection looks decent, and the food menu looks yummy. Industrial feel, with some bottles of beer/wine on shelf for taking home.

Looove this place, so empty in the evenings, great food, nice QUIET music not the crazy live screaming and wailing bands playing like in other coffee shops in Austin. Dirty Chai and regular below 👌🏽has quite the spice so good. Staff is very friendly and kind.

Great coffee… music (while great) so EFFING loud DONT come here to work or focus. I mean AirPods Pro 2 noise cancellation on and you are sitting ON the dj speaker loud!!!
Everyone has to yell at each other to even talk(not their fault).
Too bad… great place if you can stand it for more than 5 mins…
Again, coffee SO GOOD
Oh! And hotspot to your own phone if you need vpn access for work… WiFi spotty which is frustrating when you are trying to finish SO YOU CAN LEAVE LOL!!!!
Did I mention the coffee… it’s not worth it :/

Second time ordering out from this place, both times I was hoping that BB’s would add more to the Açaí Bowl but it seems like they only use 2 Tablespoons of Açaí. What looks like dressing and not the actual ice cream. From viewing the pictures of Açaí Bowl from other people pictures, ordering in it seems like you get what you pay for. Ordering out, I pay $9 a bowl for some skimpy açaí bowl that is very sparse. Looks like this will be the last time I order from Barley Bean.
In the pictures, the circle shows the bottom of the bowl and nothing but granola with the açaí dressing. The bowl itself is not full at all or even half but more like a little layer.
At first, I was like maybe next time it will be different but this time it’s still the same. Anyways, I should’ve been charge at least $4 for barely anything!
