Cherry Laurel Bakery, Cafe & Catering

Cute place with great coffee--no need for Starbucks in town when you have Cherry Laurel. Also, great pastries and baked goods--favorite is the Ding Dong cake.

I would rate this place as 0 there costumer service is bad i went in and ask them if they could make a cowboy jersey cake for my son's birthday the owner said yes then i go to get the cake and it didnt even look like a jersey so they said they would fix it and then i had to call to see if they fixed finally they did so i go back up there and they did fix it but not that good and the owner said i owed an extra $20 for the cake and i refused to pay for it cause i shouldnt have to pay for there mess up and the owner then tells me im not appreciative and she has better clientele that can afford her cakes she is very rude lady and i would recommend no one to go to this place for a cake unless you want to get screwed over and talked to like trash cause this lady is very rude and her worker's are very rude so i rate this place as a 0.

I called in a panic night before Thanksgiving and they made me a pumpkin pie especially for me. It was truly Delicious! Need I say wonderful customer service? 👍👍😁

Walked in today for first time and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Got a menu and acple slic3s of cake. Will return soon and get the chicken salad. Lookes AMAZING

Visited from Dallas and was extremely happy with food, service, and people. The food was excellent. The staff was so welcoming and warm. Will definitely come back.

Their fudge is amaaazing! They always have delicious foods and deserts. If you are new to Athens and want a nice place to eat, this should be in your top ten.

Very pleasant staff and selection for a nice lunch or fantastic catering!! Always a fresh pot of Joe available in the mornings. Love doing business with these great locals!

Delicious signature salad! Very close quarters and much activity where we were sitting but wish I lived closer so I could try more menu and bakery items.

These were the worst cupcakes I've ever had. Dry, dry dry. I live here and will never go back. They were for a baby shower and were so very disappointing for that price.
