The food and service was excellent. They have a very good chicken fried steak and excellent BLT. Be sure to try the homemade peach cobbler with ice cream. Worth a drive to go get some good eats.

Hometown diner owned by local family. Literally everything on the menu is delicious. Almost everything is homemade, from scratch every day. And they have the best servers! They also have daily homemade desserts. Best catfish around too.

Three of our four enjoyed the Friday night fish special that was cooked just as we asked. Had been reading post about lunch special and hadn't noticed the slight increase for the after 5 price of all you can eat fish but was pleasantly surprised to see the fish plate was just about all any of us could eat anyway! Even came with round hush puppies that are seldom served

If you think this is one of the "dirty, nasty, horrible bathroom and mediocre food" Diners, then be prepared for a surprise. Staff are extremely friendly, specials each day of the week with Wednesdays being a different special each week. All the prices are very affordable and you get quite a bit, of food for what a small price you pay. I had the 8oz Murn Burger with jalapeños and American cheese. Took a little time but way faster than a typical sit-down restaurant. Take a seat, and enjoy excellent food and service all in one place.

Great food! From burgers to chicken fry to catfish Fridays and especially the Wednesday special, I have always enjoyed my meals! The burgers are big and juicy with crisp toppings and hand cut fries, while the chicken fried steaks ate tender. The onion rings are always a hit with soft thin onion not dried out or a huge mouthful and a perfect crispy batter crust! They are famous for their friday catfish! I like chunky tenders with a crunchy cornmeal batter and my mom like thin and crisp...they can please us both! My favorite is the Wednesday surprise special! It's chefs choice, sometimes it's chicken spaghetti, or tacos, enchiladas or a seasonal delight. You never know till they post that day. But I know whatever it is it will be great!!

I like to go on Tuesday's to get their chicken fried steak meal for $7.50. I'm not a fan of their mashed potatoes that come with it, but they allow substitutions. It also comes with gravy, toast, green beans and a drink. The waitresses are friendly. I love the food. The bathrooms are a bit cramped though.

As always Murn's out did themselves. At our table we had amazing cheeseburgers, amazing fried catfish and amazing steak fingers. Never a disappointment. And the staff are the greatest. And the ones that had coconut pie was so happy.

Amazing food and the best damn wait staff around. Definitely recommend
