I truly felt the presence of God right when stepped through the door. They were closing for the day, however, they re-opened just to make my coffee. They said they want people to come in :). I have never felt so valued in such a long time.
I found this local coffee shop on Google maps. I honestly just clicked on the first on I saw that was on my way to my destination. Iโm so glad I clicked on this one. See the thing is, I flew from NC, rented a car, and drove to Sherman, TX to look at my cousinโs storage units he has. He passed away in December. So today has been an emotional ride to begin with. Walking into the presence of God-loving individuals provided a sense of comfort. So thank you all for everything you do.
Later today, I went to a couple places to donate my cousins clothing, sitting in each parking lot, for what felt like hours, crying, not wanting to give his clothes away. Then I thought about Grace Place and everything they stand for and do for the community. I am going to go back tomorrow and see if they will take my cousins clothes as a donation and find a good home for them.
To the coffee! Haha I ordered an almond milk vanilla latte. $4! And it tasted just like a vanilla latte! I highly recommend :)
Wow wow wow! First of all these lovely people are the kindest people ever! So friendly. The coffee is the best coffee I have ever had and Iโm not being dramatic! I wish I lived in Texas cause I would be here all the time!
Got a chai latte and it was really delicious! Iโve been looking for something local I can get besides Starbucks all the time! Will definitely be coming here more often and supporting this ministry.
My Keurig machine wasn't working properly this morning and I needed my caffeine fix. I work from home, but didn't want to take too much time away from my day by driving up to Starbucks. I'd seen Grace Place during my morning walk and decided to drop in. The barista was very friendly and the environment was peaceful despite construction on the road just outside. The coffee itself is delicious (I got an Irish Cream latte) and the price was very reasonable. I am so glad I decided to visit them today. I'll be back soon!
Freshly roasted beans and a wide variety menu. I love all the coffees, they also serve fresh bagels...all purchases go to the food pantry next door. Support your community!
I love visiting here when I'm in Texas, it's warm and friendly, the coffee is great but most importantly its mission as a space for community to come together and a food pantry is truly a blessing to Anna TX

Amazing little coffee shop! Their hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls are amazing and definitely good for an "every once in a while" treat!
The best part is that the proceeds support the Grace Place Food Pantry. ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ

Great coffee shop with amazing staff! They even roast their own coffee beans.
It is also a great place to meet a friend, client, or just have a moment to stop and enjoy life.
The fact that the proceeds from the coffee shop support the Grace Place Food Pantry is a bonus!
