Wakey Wakey's

I visited while passing through this morning and wow I'm impressed!! Not only was the iced Caramel Macchiato on point but Emily, Sequoia and Katelynn were amazing! 3 hard working young girls running the place like champs! The atmosphere was a breath of fresh air, epic 80's decor/vibe with some 90's and early 2000's music playing, perfect to get the day going.

I recently tried the House Blend and was not impressed. They give you an empty cup and point to you an insulated coffee dispenser which may have been there all day depending on when you arrive. I also noticed they were making frappé type drinks out of another dispenser behind the counter. I never really cared before but my knowledge of coffee has changed and I want good fresh coffee and Wakeys seems to lean more to the flavors and sugars. The atmosphere is really neat and Im sure your kids would love it here.

I love coming to wakey’s for there coffee I always get a wake with an extra shot of espresso with there espresso whip and cupcake..... but today is an off day on there cupcakes the vanilla cupcake that I got has like two different flavors. First one I taste is cinnamon and the other I can’t even name. The frosting has cinnamon and coconut flakes inside the icing.

The girls working there were very friendly, helpful and suggested drinks for us.

Passing through Angleton we had to stop at this quirky little coffee shop. Great lattes and cupcakes. They have a large selection of board games and books to enjoy during your visit. Will definitely be back if I'm in the area.

Me. The place looked clean to the eye. As nice as all that is.. you are a coffee shop. While making my coffees, I looked over. The frap one girl just made was really watery looking(they are not supposed to look like that) but I wasn't drinking it soooo not my buisness. I got my coffees, taco and break fast sandwich. My Carmel iced coffee taste straight up like a glass of milk.. so I tried the Next one.. same thing! I want coffee not an over proced glass of milk. The taco was soooooooo nasty. I feel like they may need re training

Great Coffee and service, but ask for double toasted marshmallow syrup if ordering the s'mores frapp. The ice toned down the flavor. Support your local small businesses!
