Wakey Wakey's

The only coffee shop with WiFi in Angleton. The prices are high and the coffee is meh. Used to really dig it when it first opened but recently the staff has been kind of zombie like unless their friends are there then they act childish. The prices are very high for the quality. Inconsistent pours and I just recently noticed that they will make iced espresso drinks with old espresso from a coffee pot. So be sure to ask for “fresh espresso” to make your drink or it will taste stale (a sentence I never thought I would say).

The gist: Cool Vibe and great concept but uninspired staff and mediocre coffee. Such a missed opportunity.

Had to be at courthouse in Angleton. Tried their hot caramel coffee with half and half and a banana nut muffin. It was AWESOME. Coffee was delicious and muffin was perfect.

So I really like this place. Super cute inside. Old school and chill. Obsessed with the Nintendo table, lol. Haven't many complaints. However there is this one lady, in particular, that is newer that...kind of got under my skin a bit. I remember trying to purchase a cup of whip for my daughter. She said she could not/did not know how to ring that up for me (even though there were plenty others there to ask). Another time, I needed a spoon and asked her kindly for one. She said that they do not have any....This I, of course, knew to be untrue; therefore I asked another lady at the window and...would you know it, they had some. Smh...lol. Other than her, I have no other complaints. Would have rated a five star if not for her...sorry Wakey's!

Great drink selection, both hot and cold. Wasn't thrilled with my French Vanilla Latte. I prefer mocha which is my bad! But I will definitely be back to keep trying new stuff! Everything looks so good! Awesome low prices! Highly recommend Wakey Wakey's!

This place sparks joy in my life every morning. Real local coffee served by real local people. Try it out if you haven’t already - you won’t regret it.

Expensive for 3 shots on ice w/ soy milk but the decor was worth it and the shots were fresh and strong. The vintage couches, lamps and Nintendo coffee table are rad! Vibe could use an upgrade but I do understand I’m still in Brazoria County despite it feeling more like home (Austin)… I’m originally from down here so I get it, just wish ppl would finally come around to a more open minded way of life. Can’t have it all I guess.

They had a pretty good wakey frappuchino. I ordered mine with the CBD isolate however I did not feel it at all. Still great coffee, and I would recommend. Their shop is also nicely decorated.
