I went and bought a birthday cake and it was the prettiest birthday cake I've ever seen the the flowers were so bright it was gorgeous and the woman that check me out was awesome it was a totally beautiful experience

Tried to call several times and left messages and no one ever calls you back. Needed to order a cake for a birthday this week. Now I’ll have to go to Marketstreet for it. What is with the customer service going down hill lately???

My wife and I are truck drivers and today was her b-day so I called on very short notice and they had a strawberry cake pre-made and they decorated and delievered it to me at the truck. McKay's helped us make a lasting memory and also it was a very delicious cake!!!

Excellent service. Called and asked about the Facebook post I saw. She offered to hold the last cake for me. Food is great as usual. Always clean. Great service. The people are always super nice and willing to help.

Great little mom and pop style bakery. They offer a few sandwiches and even some breakfast options. The baked goods are on point. Brownies and cookies are my favorite from McKays

We live in DFW but come to Abilene to visit often. Two years in a row, we've used McKays for birthday cakes and they've always been tasty and cute. We love love love the thumbprint cookies and try to get some at every visit!

I came back to Abilene (my hometown) to visit and stopped by about 5 minutes before closing. Didn't realize they were closing that soon at the time, but just was so excited to be able to grab cookies since I live so far away now. The brunette woman made it very apparent that she was upset to see customers come in that close to closing. My family and I were made to feel like a burden and unwelcomed. So disappointing since this is (or used to be now) one of my favorite places to go to while in town. Guess I won't waste my time or dollars there anymore. Learn to treat your customers better, regardless of how close to the end of your shift it is!!!

Awesome place! I called from out of town to order a small cake for friends of mine to celebrate them getting married! The person I spoke with was so friendly and had me fixed up right away! The cake was beautiful! Thank yall!

Owners are very helpful, nice, and patient considering how busy they are. Would highly recommend for special occasions!!

Tasted like freezer burn. Havent eaten there in a long while because of this. Decided to try again with new owners. Nope taste old and freezer burned.
Wont be back! There is too many other options these days.
