Ordered an apple pie, pumpkin pie, and cheesecake for Thanksgiving! All we’re on point, especially the apple pie! Thanks McKay’s Bakery!

My sweet niece from Abilene, sent me a Texas shaped fruitcake from this bakery. It was very good. Full of nuts, dates and candied fruit. Best fruitcake I have ever had! I live in Austin. Can I order online?

McKay’s Bakery is one of my favorite Abilene staples. I ordered all kinds of goodies for a great price a few weeks before a friend’s wedding shower. They were all ready to go the morning I picked them up, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the cookies, kolaches, and desserts were tasty!

Quiche ordered today had been reheated a few times. Bacon on top very hard and dark. Quiche wasn't even 1/2 in height and the broccoli was very overcooked. We thought this bakery would have homemade bread. They used smashed sandwich bread on their Club. Tomatoes on sandwich were not even pink so who know when would turn red. Very poor presentation with not fresh fruit but can peaches with quiche. They were actually tasty.

McKays Bakery is the best! Their pastries and service are always exceptional!

Ordered 2 dozen snowballs for Christmas Eve dinner at the in-laws house. Sure do look good, but my wife declared them off limits until tomorrow.
Order was set up for 3 PM; were ready when I arrived at 2:30.

Every time I have bought from McKay’s it tasted like day old cake, crème puffs were disgusting and falling apart. I would not recommend them any longer.

What a treat, yes the sweet kind and the fun kind. I bought a dozen cookies and YES you can mix them up so i got a couple of each! I also had lunch they have handmade sandwiches with there own bakery bread! Everything is exceptionally made delicious
