Carpe Cafe

First time here and I enjoyed it. Ordered a double espresso and it was one of the most balanced espresso shots I’ve had in a while. Everything is a little expensive here. That’s the only reason for the missing star. I will return and hope this is a consistently good place to have coffee

Great location for local meetings and hanging out with friends. Definitely my go-to location in the Smyrna Depot District. The store has a wonderful ambiance and warm welcoming feeling. Coffee is decently priced and they offer a complete selection of lattes and flavored coffees. Creamers are half and half or whole milk (others might be available upon request?). They also offer some great homemade cinnamon rolls and other pastry items.

The gentleman at the counter always makes my coffee here and he is TRULY a gem. Always kind and courteous, and always makes things exactly as ordered with special attention to my milk allergy. The food here is also fantastic, please try the cuban sandwich or the bacon-asperagus quiche sometime if you havent!! This is my new favorite regular spot as they serve all-day breakfast and are open pretty late for a cafe!

My first time eating here but definitly not my last especially since we live close now. Great food (loved the chicken salad and chicken tortilla soup) and my latte was awesome as well. They have been here 10 years. Great place to check out!

Destiny was amazing !! She made me this special latte that they didn’t have on their menu. She custom made it & it turned out absolutely amazing !! This place was so good ! Definitely recommend coming here !

It was great I loved the atmosphere, I went here all the time to show new friends the cafe. But they permanently closed this past Thursday, it was really sad

Cozy, friendly, imperfect. This is what a locally owned business should be like. I'm not going to critique whether the coffee had the right amount of foam. Everything I have had here -- the quiche, coffee, desserts -- have all been wonderful. Not perfect, but add in the warm atmosphere, and the sounds of the frequent trains going by, and I can't think of a better place to sit and talk with a friend and feel that I am a little better off than if I was sitting in that perfectly replicated chain shop.

The cutest coffee shop in Smyrna! I love this place because of the great quality of the food and for the coffee. The owners are very active in their community and involved with the local Chamber. Great place! Excellent customer service! Very welcoming and homey feel to the place.

This is a great place, especially for breakfast. Me and a friend went here one morning and I ordered the ham & cheese croissant sandwich. It tasted awesome. You can also get specialty coffee there or just a normal all-you-can-drink cup of Joe for about $2. And the sandwich was only about $5. Service was also nice, we got our food promptly and with a smile. I will definitely be eating here for breakfast again. They even have gluten free options!
