I cannot believe that I have never posted a review of this wonderful place before. I found this place many years ago, and I'm so happy it has survived. They have the quirky atmosphere that I absolutely love in coffee shops. Not everyone wants sterile, boring, personalityless spaces! This is a cute little shop with plenty of choices. If you don't see the coffee or latte you want on the menu, just ask! I got a honey lavender latte with oat milk today, and that is not on the menu. The staff is warm and friendly, the space is fantastic, and the options are great. They do also have gluten-free options and non-dairy options. This is a gem, and I hope it stays around forever!

Cute little coffee shop with some yummy food. Very nice people there too. Cute little shaded patio too for those of us that like being outside.
The only issue I had was finding parking. If there is any for this Cafe I didn’t see it. I ended up parking behind the place after circling the roundabout looking. Very short walk to the door but it would nice to have a sign telling you where to park.

We ordered delivery from here a couple of times and like the food. We stopped in today to check them out and were very pleased by the artistic decor and friendly staff. They have lots of veggie options and offered alternative dairy options for their coffees. While we knew the food would taste good it was much better fresh from the kitchen and presented nicely. This might have to become a regular spot for us!

Stopped here for lunch and it was worth it. The staff were very nice and they offered table service for bringing out the food. The portion sizing for the price was great to me, and the food was equally as good.
Also, the coffee was fantastic.

Charming place in the older train depot area of Smyrna. Limited menu, but what they do have has always been good. I've enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the clouds, people, cars, trains, planes, and whatever else happens to go past. Why not sit a spell and have some tea? It's just like that.

Friendly, helpful employees welcome you to this one-of-a-kind little coffee shop and cafe that also serves as the heart of Smyrna's arts community. I loved learning that the building used to be a dry cleaners decades ago. That accounts for the fact that the order counter is not the first thing you see. Walk in through the seating area until you see the chalkboard-on-a-wall with menu suggestions

This place is super clean, neat, cozy & the staff was very nice. Thank you Christian for taking my order & telling me a little history about Carpe Cafe. I had a London Fog Hot Tea made with almond milk, quiche & cinnamon roll. They also have coconut, regular or soy milk. You have to see this place for yourself. They have a great menu for breakfast & lunch. They also have nice art that you can purchase & few other things. You can sit inside or outside.

Great place, great staff. Food was incredibly overpriced and small.
Sounds par for the course for these types of places, but stick to the coffee if you're coming here. Everything else is a bit much

Artistic, chill coffee shop with multiple Monin syrups to choose from to create a unique latte. Browse the local Art around the Cafe and purchase a one-of-a-kind local masterpiece. Grab a piece of homemade Tiramisu and enjoy the in-house murals, artistic tables, or take a stroll downtown.
