Amazing, personable experience. Hostess was very welcoming, informative and helpful. Waiter was very insightful and approachable with any questions we had. The building is very historic and the staff have endless facts on the details of it. The food was all amazing and freshly prepared.

Unique experience, that's for sure. The hostess runs a tight ship so be aware - arrive on time. Can't get seated until everyone arrives. Once we were past the logistics and were seated, it was wonderful - service, atmosphere and food. They made me a great vegan meal which was not on the menu, so ask for accommodation if needed. Altogether, elegant and unique experience. They also offer valet.

Great atmosphere. 5/5 Outstanding service 5/5. Food was ok. 3/5. I had the sea bass it was ok just an extremely small portion. The fish portion was smaller than the palm of my hand & very thin. It set on cream corn & mash potatoes. Both had a good flavor but they were cold. My husband had the ribeye steak. Pretty sure that wasn’t a ribeye it was more like a sirloin. It was thick, tuff & not much flavor. We had the skillet cookie for dessert it was the best party of the meal.
I can not say enough good about how beautiful the place is & how great of service we had. It was so far above any other place as far as atmosphere & service go. But there is a lot to be desired as far as the food goes. I am glad we went just for the experience. The place has so much potential just needs a little work on the food preparation department.

Took my wife here a couple days ago and loved everything about this historic restaurant. I highly recommend checking out the bar. Sharon was very welcoming and informative when we arrived. The service is far superior compared to the restaurants in the area. Cannot wait to come back here! Thank you Sean for waiting on us, you did an amazing job! A must have is definitely the Cheesecake.

An historic dining experience that is worth repeating. From the moment we were greeted at the door and entered this restaurant we new it will be an unforgettable evening. Exquisite food, friendly staff and a great wine list.

Absolutely incredible! The staff is amazing. We showed up 15min early for our reservation and were taken into a room I can only describe as a high end speak easy where the bartenders made us amazing drinks. When our table was ready we had two staff members waiting on on us the entire night and the food and service was impeccable. We felt like VIPs the entire time.

What an experience! It's almost like eating at a museum. Historic Nashville building with dining and lounge areas. Greeter gives background and family history, and the owner family is very involved in the operations which makes for an intimate dining experience. The salmon and sea bass were amazing. The drinks are perfect. Decibel recommend the Irish coffee with the caramel cheesecake.

Really interesting place, a hidden gem love the history of this place.The food was great I love the atmosphere dark with fireplaces. The food and service were great!

Came here for my birthday dinner and it was absolutely amazing! We started off with drinks at the bar, Zeke recommended some great drinks! We then had fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and I ordered the Standard fillet. It was cooked to perfection. Our server Scott was amazing. I definitely recommend trying this place out if you get the chance!

We absolutely LOVED the Standard at the Smith House. From our greeting by the Valet who gave us a brief history of the House and took our picture, to the Owner who took us on a tour of the beautiful old mansion to the Bartenders. All were wonderful. Our Server was great, food was solid. Not sure about the negative reviews here, because we loved it.
