Mimi's Ice Cream & Coffee Shoppe

I was disappointed. I got a small hot fudge sundae and my boyfriend got a waffle cone. His was fine. However my hot fudge sundae ended up being a tiny ball of ice cream with a ton of whipped cream and chocolate sauce NOT HOT FUDGE. That definitely was not worth 6.99. There was legit 3 inches of whipped cream in that little cup. Next time I will save my money and get my ice cream from some where else. It was just Mayfield ice cream, nothing special.

A few months ago we came in and it was so good! All unique, homemade flavors locally made. Now it's just a basic Mayfield Dairy Ice Cream shop. Disappointing.

Brought my four kids here last sunday. We spent about $75. I was asked to wait two different times for the place to clear out to make my 3 banana splits. I waited 45 minutes for them to be made. Once I received them the bananas were not even edible. They were as hard as a rock and weren’t close to being ripe. I’m highly disappointed considering the amount of money I spent.

The worker there was alone, trying to handle tons of people on her own. She did a wonderful job handling the situation professionally. The owners really need to hire help, I’m sure they know how busy this place stays on the weekends. Had she not been running around like crazy trying to keep up with the large crowd I would have asked for a refund.

Great ice cream, great coffee, sweet staff! I wish these guys were near my home instead of Starbucks!

I love this place my family and I stop here every time we are on a road trip it’s such a fun and tasty spot, Dane and his staff are always so helpful I wish there were more Mimi’s Ice cream shops

Cool ice cream shop to visit. They offer coffee as well but I didn't get to try that. There's a restaurant next door we didn't get to go to either but will try next time. Nice area and is located next to Opry Mills. Seems like a little tourist trap area but is fun. Several souvenir shops to go in to across the street and a cracker barrel to visit next door if you want something you can get at home while on vacation. Seems like it defeats the purpose of vacation but hey, whatever floats your river barge. I had a vanilla milkshake with whipped cream and a cherry on top and it was delicious. The size of the cups were a little small for the price you pay but it's Nashville. Just expect to pay more anyway anywhere you go. Super crowded when we went but I don't expect much less considering where the building is located.

Feels like an old-fashioned ice cream parlor. Fairly long wait on a hot summer evening but the crew was doing their best. Not inexpensive, but felt like the generous size and quality of the product made the value good - especially for a business in such a touristy area.

My family and I really enjoyed our ice cream! Super friendly staff who were very patient with our five year old son, offered him many samples. Ice cream was delicious and they have a nice outdoor seating area. Can’t wait to return!
