Dane treated us like family. It is all locally sourced. Family owned and operated. Highly recommended! Best Ice cream in town!

Posted store hours stated they closed at 11pm on Fridays. I showed up at 10:45pm and the door was locked and the employees were already cleaning up. When I asked the employees why they closed early, they said they close the store at 10pm to clean up which I found ridiculous. Seems to me that they just wanted to get out of there early. The hours need to be updated to 10pm if that is truly the case.

Thank you for your reply. I understand the current state of affairs, however I still stand behind my assertion that the store hours and website should be updated to accurately reflect the store hours. This will lead to satisfaction on both sides. Seems like I’m not the only one to express my frustrations regarding the lack of correctly posted store hours online - yet there have been no corrections made.

Tourists are drawn to your business and drive from many locations to try the product - including from out of state. If the hours were updated correctly on your website and google, it would have prevented myself and possibly others from wasting their time making a drive out only to be disappointed and not having an opportunity to try your ice cream and coffee.

Customers and potential customers have voiced their concerns, yet it seems to have fallen on deaf ears. I wish you the best of luck in the success of your family owned business, but if many people are voicing the same complaint it may be time to listen and act accordingly.

Banana split with no banana there are two kids probably 12&16 trying to make orders they don’t know how to make, they advertise homemade ice cream, I guess it is homemade in Athens by mayfield dairy. Definitely not worth the money I spent

My first time here was awesome. Even though they were out of blue moon icecream, the employee working, Lilly, made my experience very pleasant and she was extremely kind and inviting. She is the kind of employee who would keep me coming back just for the positive service! Thank you for the icecream and smiles!

Excellent ice cream and if I had given the review after our first visit it would have been 5 stars. But, I took two away, one was for coming during hours that the store should be open, however we found the lights on and customers and staff inside but the door locked 10 min before close. Second is the only staff person this evening just wasn’t very pleasant, and made it seem like he was doing us a favor being here.

This place has delicious ice cream. The mint chocolate chip has very finely ground chip pieces which was my only complaint. The prices look high until you see the size of the scoops. They have tons of different toppings to choose from. The girls were super nice.

I was staying at the opryhouse and decided to stop in mimis for a cone and had an awesome time. dane was great and the ice cream was AMAZING. Will absolutely be returning the next time im in town without a doubt !

20 minutes waiting in line to one server to help 15 customers while another server was sitting down looking at the customers on her phone at the register! Really bad experience! Do not recommend at all! Unless you have time to wait for them to take care of you on their time whenever they want to then I would not go.
