Mimi's Ice Cream & Coffee Shoppe

VERY GOOD SERVICE AND ICE CREAM WAS AMAZING

A cute little place that was clean and well kept. There was a very good selection of flavors. There was no wait when we went and the service was excellent. Can't wait to go back and get some more!

I share a similar problem with another reviewer. We came by to get dessert after our dinner and this is the second time we have been completely ignored by the staff inside the shop when the open sign is clearly still lit and they could see us standing outside. This is our second time to Nashville in the span of 2 weeks and we wanted to try Mimis because we didn’t get the chance to the last time we were here. We gave it the benefit of the doubt the first time because we didn’t know how Covid affected the shops hours and we came by about an hour before what your website and google still claim you close. But we came by around 8:20pm tonight and the same exact thing happened.

If you need to close early for some reason I understand, but update your hours online so everyone knows. I bet your ice cream is good but I’m not sure if I’m ever even going to find that out so right now it’s a 1. No one even had the common decency to open the door and let us know why we weren’t going to be served. They just let us stand there like idiots until we walked off. Totally unprofessional and this is not how you get customers.

My husband and I both got 2 scoops, but when we took a bite there want much flavor! I could barely taste the chocolate and he said his cookies and cream was only cream! We threw it out and got milkshakes from mcdonalds on the way home. So sad too cause we are locals and are looking for a good place for dessert close to home! Guess we will keep looking.

Went to go get ice cream at 8:30 and the place was all locked up and the guy was inside cleaning so call first because their hours don't match what is on the website. There must have been 15-20 customers that got turned away if not more and their site says they don't close until 10

When I arrived an hour after posted opening time, they were still not open. There is a sign saying that they are having trouble with enough staff. I feel there are numerous ways to address this better than a sign on the door, such as updating their website/google/Yelp hours with employee scheduled hours or fever temporary closure. But I guess they have their regulars so I hope that’s enough for them as it feels they are not getting new ones if they cannot operate consistently or reliably.

New in town and was looking for ice cream. Came in, met a friend and got great ice cream as well. The Philly cheesecake ice cream is my FAVE!!! I will drive an hour to get this I e cream if I had to. Lucky me I’m les than 20 min away😍!

We live nearby and was devastated to see our local Baskin Robins leave Donelson. We didn't know where we would go for a good ice cream cone until Mimi's opened! Now I can't imagine going anywhere else! So very good! Indoor and outdoor seating available.
