Matryoshka Coffee

Really liked the whole concept of this coffee shop - it’s unique. Starting with the name of the coffee shop and ending with the drinks. Coming from a Slavic culture myself it’s really interesting to see a place like this in the US. My husband loves hats, so we had to get one. Baristas are super friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come back next time I’m in Nashville.

Matryoshka is such a happy little shop that brings joy and fun to everything they serve. Everything is delicious. I get a different drink every time I go because there is always something new to try and some days you just need glitter and sprinkles in your coffee. I love the Yellow & Lavender baked goods (again, no snoozers) when they have them!

They also do a great job accommodating vegan/dairy-free needs even in their specialty drinks.

The inside of the shop is small, but they have outdoor seating and a nice little grassy lawn to sit and enjoy your treats. In a city where I often feel like a weirdo, this shop feels like a little slice of belonging.

Matryoshka is one of my absolute favorite coffee shops in Nashville. Although it is a small shop, it's one of the prettiest spaces I've ever seen in my life. Instant mood boost!

Their coffee menu is a mix of tried-and-true favorites as well as inventive seasonal drinks. The Dirty Dr. Pepper and the Dirt Pudding were a couple of my favorite limited-time specialty drinks, but I can always rely on a Confetti Cuban or Gas Station Cappuccino to get me through my day.

There is just something so special about this shop that you cannot miss. From the atmosphere to the wonderful staff, they have nailed the customer experience. Whether you're local or just visiting, Martryoshka is a must for everyone!

Absolutely loved this place, superrr cute, easy parking, drinks are very fun and everything is super colorful. I also love that if you get "for here" it's in real mugs and iced drinks come in glasses.

Not a ton of seating, but not bad for the small space. Great for catching up with a friend!

This is such a cute coffee shop! The people are so friendly, the place is decorated in an extremely fun way, and they have very unique and delicious drinks. The gas’s station cappuccino is completely different than you would expect. They also have a non-coffee option that is a dragonfruit drink without caffeine great for an afternoon treat. Definitely worth going!

This coffee shop is pure joy! It is cute, creative, full of glorious little details and the BEST coffee (I see you, Crema beans!). The owner & staff have curated a whole experience unlike anything in Nashville. Can’t wait to be back!

The most vibey coffee shop in Nash hands down. Do you love amazing coffee? They make that. Want sparkles in your drink? They can do that. Want rainbow sprinkles? You got it. Want a cute selfie in a mirror filled with motivation & nice words? You can do that here. Are you a gremlin with trinkets and have run out of space? You can leave them here for everyone to enjoy & treasure. Do you need a safe space? This is one. Want to talk to some seriously cool humans? Then definitely check out Matryoshka.

Such a cute space! Staff was friendly and welcoming since it was my first time visiting, and they recommended the confetti Cuban. I worked here for about two hours and loved the diverse group of people who came in the door, some working, some chatting, and others grabbing their usual from the baristas. They also put glitter and sprinkles on your coffee- how precious!!

Matryoshka easily gets a 5 star rating from me. Easily one of my favorite coffee shops in Nashville with some of the best coffee.

First, the vibes of this place are immaculate. You are welcomed with incredibly fun colors and a cozy seating environment. Right outside the coffee shop is some grass and you can bring a picnic blanket (or use one they have in the coffee shop) to have a nice outdoor hang.

Second, the people are excellent. I've never had a bad experience engaging with the people and it's awesome that they even made the effort to learn and remember my name over the few times I have gone. I think that's awesome and I love the personal feel.

Last, but not least, the menu. They have an incredibly simple menu and that is one aspect that I really appreciate since it shows that they truly take pride in their coffee...and as expected, it's wonderful. Fun fact, I believe their Americano prices cost the same as their drip...so why not get something completely fresh? The team there is constantly experimenting with new, fun drinks and from what I have had so far, every drink has been a knockout.

I will continue to support them as a company and am always looking forward to my next visit.
