Gibson's Cafe

I absolutely love this place ! The atmosphere was wonderful . The couple that own it are outstanding . The food gives a very nice homemade feeling and it's delicious .

Excellent food made with love, just like granny used to. If you like bacon, you'll love their breakfast. The home fries are the best I have ever had the pleasure of eating. The owners are great and they have live music on Friday nights! Awesome place!

The red velvet cheesecake is the absolute best thing ever!

This is a little gem in my home town. Miles and Co. Have done a great job of bringing a bit of " urban fare" and a historical, musical atmosphere to this otherwise sleepy rural town. My only complaint is that they are not open at all on the weekends so, I don't get to eat there as often as I like since I work in Nashville. Selfish I know, but maybe a Saturday breakfast or a Sunday brunch occasionally would be good for business.

This place is quaint and has a nice atmosphere. The food is decent, but greatly over priced for what you get. My wife and I each got an omelet and a drink at a cost of $28. We got there at 9:30 and we were presented the breakfast menu. Then we were told we could only order "non complicated" items. What is that you ask? We weren't sure either. But I guess omelets aren't too complicated. Another couple came in just after us wanting breakfast and they were literally told if they wanted breakfast to go to McDonald's where they served breakfast all day. I'm not sure what role the lady behind the counter plays here ( the owner I think), but she is one of the rudest I've ever came across in the service industry. The guy, Miles was very hospitable though. We will never be going back.

Food was good but the service was terrible. The staff was friendly but not helpful at all. No refills and no chance to order dessert. She brought our food and promptly forgot about us.
We will not be back.

Miles and Ginger are wonderful to work for. They know how to clean & everything is literally up to date. LOVE their Phily Cheese Steak sub :) love them as people as well

Of all the many times I've been there, I've never had a bad meal, and they have great desserts. It's my favorite lunch place in town and I recommend it to everyone.The staff/owners are so nice too!

If you find yourself in Lafayette, TN, have lunch at Gibson's Cafe. Clean and cute. Reasonable prices, great food. I had one of the lunch specials. A chicken salad fruit plate. My friend had the grilled ruben. Ample portions, fresh and tasty.
