I am not a Millennial or Gen Z, but they still let me in. Hanging swing chairs and chia pudding make avocado toast seem kinda old school. But the coffee and bagels are excellent, the servers are friendly, and it's always full of energy. Carry out, zone out, or people watch - great local place.
It is very good, I like going local whenever I can. However I still have to try a few more things before I decide if I truly love this place. But so far the coffee has never disappointed me and its a nice atmosphere.
Update: I truly believe that is a wonderful place. The coffee and tea and snacks are lovely and the people are always kind. Not the overly saccharin sappy annoying happy, but they are the genuine kind of pleasant.
Original Review: Comfortable coffee shop with good bagels as well! Main complaint is that pricing seems significantly higher than other local shops.
August 2022 Update: Prices for Kbrew lattes are on par with the most expensive and trendy coffee shops I've been to in Manhattan or downtown Chicago. I don't see how Knoxville can bear that kind of price. Also the drip coffee is highly acidic and hard to drink for me. If you're into that style go ahead. Still giving 2 stars due to the reasonably priced and tasty bagels.
What a cool inviting place. There’s little hammocks in one spot of the restaurant, and plenty of chairs and tables. All of the equipment and counters seemed exceptionally clean (although sitting on the bar I could see underneath the appliances on the floor are in desperate need of cleaning), the employees were mellow and friendly, and my to-go order was very fresh and ready on time. The prices are pretty steep, but the quality of the ingredients and coffee justify the cost. The bagels are wonderful. The eggs on the breakfast sandwich are a little odd (they had a similar texture to powdered eggs, felt a little watery and almost gelatin-like), but they taste alright. The bacon is local and great quality, but make sure you are fine with the heavy smoke flavor overpowering your sandwich if that’s your protein of choice (it’s not my favorite, so I’ll go with the sausage next time). Great spot, I look forward to visiting the other locations.
Great bagel and coffee shop. The price is what you would expect, food tasted great, and everything was clean. Also, everyone is friendly. We’ll be back if we’re ever in Knoxville again.
Our grown son was finally able to come home after a year and a half & spent some 1 on1 time with each of us. He’s a bit of a foodie so I decided to take him to K Brew West Hills. We had a glorious time lounging in the hammock swing chairs with our lattes and bagels, talking, laughing, catching up & hearing all about his life in Austin,TX since moving from CA. He was quite impressed with the ambiance & treats at K Brew. Thank you for creating such an inviting atmosphere with yummy tastes & smells and again those super cool hammock swing chairs. 🙂
The best coffee and bagel shop in Knoxville, hands down. They do the simple stuff well (bagels and drip coffee) while still being able to craft great espresso drinks and make complex flavors taste great with items like their Lox or Bacon & Chive spread.
PRO TIP: Order online to beat the crowd. Easy to get in and out early in the morning, but this place is usually packed by 10am.
Not the best plain espresso in town (that distinction currently belongs to Jack’s), but good. Other drinks, CONTAINING espresso, are excellent. I’m currently in the West End Café, but the one near the food coop is also very good. Both have hammock chairs you can swing in.
K brew is fantastic. Plenty of helpful staff, great environment, great coffee and small food too. Only reason I give it four stars instead of five is the prices. I think I would be inclined to go more if they were better.

Love this place ❤
It is a very good place to study -- and the $1 bagels and $1 cappuccino (and $1 drip coffee) from 5p-6p are awesome.
