Capybara Coffee

The coffee is incredible and the shop offers a nice atmosphere for me to study or work with friends. The owners are so helpful and kind and truly care about their customers. Please try the chai, you will not regret it!

A really wonderful coffee shop that has become my favorite in Knoxville. The coffee and food is great but the servers are the kindest by far! Feels like a cozy, homely, local shop.

Grabbed a latte today and the espresso in it was really outstanding. It’s clean and modern and the staff are really friendly. Plus the location is great. I definitely will be visiting again.

Knoxville has two things going for it craft breweries and coffee shops. This is the best coffee in Knoxville. Everyone from the owner to the rest of the staff live up to the spirit of their namesake Capybara. Give them a visit and enjoy anything on their menu.

If you enjoy sipping watered down coffee while listening to golden oldies, surrounded by college kids with headphones, this is the place for you. Nice staff, clean environment with comfortable seats, but lame coffee and terrible music adds up to a bad experience for me.

They are still requiring masks as customers walk in even though there is no mandate in TN or Knox County. They didn't have any masks available either. I drove 20 minutes from west because I heard they had Brazilian coffee but couldn't get it. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

This is a fantastic third wave coffee shop. They have great espresso and pour overs with fantastic attention to detail. Probably my favorite coffee shop yet, and reasonable prices as well!

I've been going to this place a lot since I discovered it (and I work at UT so it's sooo convenient). I'm a latte drinker and their lattes are smooth and delicious. The service is laidback and very good. I really hope this place has lots of success because it deserves it!

This place is as delicious as it is adorable. A truly impressive array of ethically sourced products, house-made syrups and flavors, and a cheerful atmosphere. Get happy at Capy!
