Capybara Coffee

The folks at Capybara make a consistently good cup of coffee, be it drip or pour-over. The employees are friendly and the atmosphere is good for relaxing or getting some work done. Easily the best coffee on campus and a better value than the competition.

I love this coffee shop! I make a point to visit 3-4 times a week. The staff are so friendly and everything I've tried has been delicious. I Highly Recommend.

I come here every day for my morning latte and I love it! The taste is so smooth and better than the local Starbucks and the owners are great people who are committed to finding you a drink you’ll love!

This is a great new addition to the university commons! The employees are very kind and the drinks are delicious. There is easy parking and plenty of tables to work. Easy to grab a drink to go after grocery shopping!

Friendly, fast service and delicious coffee! I’m a picky decaf drinker and it’s next to impossible to find a good decaf. I love that they offer oat, coconut or almond non-dairy milks. I got a decaf latte with oat milk and it was delicious. I will definitely be back to try the pour over.

Some of Knoxville’s best coffee made by some of Knoxville’s nicest people! Best london fog and best mocha in town and they always have a drink of the month (wild berry latte, German chocolate mocha, etc.). Plus they have Battleship.
