New new review: upped my rating. In house roasting, fresh whole bean on the shelf, tasty selection of drinks made to order. Little pricey but not terribly surprised. Always friendly staff, ready and open to talk about coffee. I recommend giving this place a visit

New review: this place has changed hands. The new owners are very modern and 3rd wave, which is good. New ideas and inspiration. Only problem is I think the quality of their coffee has changed. Not nearly as flavourful. Possibly not as fresh? Either way, I will give them another try and maybe change my review.

Refused my request for heavy cream. "We have it but it's for recipes." Also seems they neglected the syrup I ordered. Better service at McDonalds and better coffee at the little drive-thru coffee shop down the street.

Amazing coffee! They roast their own coffee beans on-site as well! My fave drink is the Hazelnut cold brew and love the Costa Rica beans. But be sure to ask for less ice otherwise it will be gone after a few sips. Also love the fresh baked goods especially the chocolate espresso and birthday cake cookies. Best place in town for coffee for sure!

I drink black coffee and this coffee was amazing. The great aroma and refreshing taste makes me want to visit every time I’m in town.

Enjoy to find great coffee shops when travelling, and just happened upon this place when driving through Tennessee. Good roasting, good beverage execution, and staff that will engage with a goof like me! Now back in Michigan, loving the Tanzanian coffee I brought home, 'specially on a snowy morning.

Great roaster. They bring out the unique qualities of each single origin, and they also create delicious blends. I'm addicted to their Ethiopian Yrgacheffe. Pastries are nice. Atmosphere has been updated this year (2020) to make it spacious and modern without losing too much hominess. Lots of parking, great food options in the attached strip mall, knowledgeable baristas.

Black Press has ruined getting iced coffee from anywhere else. It's consistently made the right way, they add a few seasonal options every few months to try if you want something new, and if you're there often enough, they learn your order for you! They also make fantastic pup-cups according to my pup.

Great coffee shop! The service was awesome, very polite and friendly, makes you feel like a neighbor coming over for a cup of coffee and small y’all! You aren’t rushed like other shops, you can tell that they genuinely care about their customers. The coffee was even better!! So rich and fresh, amazing taste. I will be spending my money only here now!!
