I had the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had! The "Hobbs" was amazing.... and the spiced chai was like Christmas in a cup. Awesome atmosphere, we will definitely stop back the next time we are in town. Their whole menu sounded delicious!

This place is iconic; it has great coffee and is at historic downtown, great location. Also extended hours; I was there on Sunday after 5, apparently they were open til 8pm. They have food on the menu; I haven't tried a sandwich yet because I don't get up to cookeville much anymore.

Poets is our favourite coffee place. Friendly and timely service, We love the plant based milks , just need more vegan desert and food options. Many inexpensive recipes can be found online these days. 😊
Bathrooms and Floors around trash cans upfront need attention as well as the glass doors.

Poet's is a great place to stop and get your daily coffee! You may have to wait in a line on occasion, but considering the quality the wait is worth it! They have great snacks as well and some health conscious options. Also a great place for students to go and study with the relaxed atmosphere!

The crew here is amazing. You can really tell they care about the customer's experience and satisfaction. We came during their busiest time and ordered a couple of crafted drinks, which came out a little slow and weren't exactly what we wanted. The crew heard our complaints and got our corrected drinks out asap. They even gave us some coupons for our next visit.
10/10 would recommend to a friend.
