Muletown Coffee Roasters

Y'all - this is my absolute favorite coffee place in town. It is super small so do not expect to get a seat on a busy morning. However, I think the size gives it such a quaint and home-y feel. Their drinks are exceptional and the staff is always so kind and helpful. In addition to drinks, they have a nice array of merchandise too like mugs and stickers.

Added bonus - they also have a water station so you don't have to go up to the counter or wait in line for just a cup of water.

I highly recommend if you're looking for a local cup of coffee!

We went here twice this week while in Columbia on a little vacation. I had a chai latte and a lemon poppyseed muffin. Also an adorable pin.
Every things tasted delicious. The service was prompt and courteous. Plenty of room to sit and enjoy our drinks inside. Thank you!

Great online ordering service & great coffee!! We live in MN & our daughter lives in TN, and my wife absolutely loves Muletown coffee, even though she's a huge Caribou fan. I ordered coffee and a mug over the weekend & it arrived on the following Wednesday!! ☕☕☕

Great coffee, great people, great wifi 😂 every time I see someone walk in they always seem happy to be there and they are always greeted like an old friend. I'm glad to be a patron of a place like this, and I'll always go back for more. I hope they roll out food one day, but right now it's mostly just coffee (espresso drinks), teas, and pastries.

Lovely little coffee spot! They serve some pastries as well, but their primary focus is coffee and it shows. Very good coffee. I'd describe the place as pretty hipster. Seating is limited but usually available as people come in and out. Some outdoor seating as well. The owners are super nice, staff is friendly, and customers tend to be kind as well, lending to a relaxed atmosphere. I'll definitely come again when I'm in town, and recommend it for coffee drinkers.

We love Muletown for many reasons (my go-to is an iced oat milk latte with honey and cinnamon and theirs always hit the spot— ask for the light toast espresso!), but today we discovered a new one— they offer travelers! Next time you host a brunch or have a big group over and want to offer guests coffee, save yourself the time and hassle of brewing it all yourself and grab a traveler from Muletown. All of our guests were so excited to be treated to such good coffee.
