Oaks Coffee House

This place is super cute! Extremely nice interior and would be the best study space. My ONLY disappointment was that I got an iced latte that just tasted like milk. So I asked how they made it, and they said that they usually use cold brew concentrate and don’t do espresso unless you ask. I thought this was super weird because (as a barista myself) the definition of a latte is the combination of espresso and milk. Otherwise I would’ve asked for a cold brew! So I went ahead and asked for 2 shots of espresso to add to my drink, as I usually like my 16oz lattes with 4 shots anyway 😭 anndd the espresso was so bitter and flavorless. I work at Starbucks and our espresso isn’t all that either, but it has more body than that. Maybe I’m just snobby with my coffee. But anyways, just make sure that if you get an iced latte, ask for it to be made with espresso if that’s what you’re looking for.

This place is for true coffee aficionados. My latte has hints of raisin and tobacco, and no burnt after taste. They don't have to hide behind lots of syrup, because their coffee tastes amazing!

They have such good coffee! Great atmosphere and lots of seating! You can rent out the top lift for events, too!

This is one of my favorite coffee houses in the Chattanooga area. The coffee is delicious and the sweet treats are amazing!

It was crowded which is a good thing for Oaks but it would be better if I had a seat.

i really liked this place for awhile, but i noticed my coffee starting to taste not very strong/watery .. i watched them make my iced latte a couple of times and they never pulled a fresh shot of espresso.. they would just pour coffee out of a canister. one day i just asked for a shot of espresso over ice to see what was going on, and they never pulled a fresh shot. just poured already cold coffee over ice and it was not good at all. i hate it because i really liked this place. giving it 2 stars because the people, food, and black coffee is good. but really disappointed in the lattes/coldbrew. especially since i am paying 6$ for a coffee, it should at least be fresh.

Oaks Coffee is exemplary, and their commitment to honoring God and providing caring service is noteworthy.

Staff is understanding, helpful, and pleasant.
Barista conversations among themselves are positive and uplifting.

Clean restrooms, quiet ambiance downstairs, outdoor sheltered seating, with a focused couch area and many round tables upstairs.

All outlets are next to the wall, including a wall-length bar on wall facing the lawn and street. Installing extension cords and surge protectors could easily make studying more stress-free around the round tables upstairs.

Crowd consists of young, conservative students, professionals, and families in focus meetings.

Safe for small and large families alike.

Prices mid-range and comparable to major chain brands. Includes reward programs for certain price points, completely digitalized.

Best coffeehouse in Chattanooga.

Super friendly staff and everything was very clean. All staff were wearing masks and the seating was well spaced. I had the avocado toast, it definitely had some kick because of the red pepper, the bread was fresh; it was good but I personally wouldn't order again. Had a Marble Mocha with oat milk, not sure I would get again but it grew on me. If you are looking for a healthy snack and beverage this is great, if you are looking for something more indulgent this might not be the place.

We stopped by Oaks after a trip to McKay's for lunch. The avocado toast with smoked salmon and smoothie bowls were tasty, flavorful and filling. Staff was friendly and conversational. The store was pretty busy, but the café didn't feel too crowded. We'll definitely be back in future trips!

I love Oaks! Such a clean and inviting atmosphere. They have a great selection of coffee and tea beverages. The iced vanilla latte is my go-to and the chicken salad sandwich is delicious for lunch! I could go on and on about the food. A few other recommendations: honey, cinnamon, vanilla scone, overnight oats, and the oaks bagel!
