The Bistro, Coffee and Eatery St. Croix

Some of the meals (Group of 6) were not liked. The spinach wrap beef left something to be desired but the Asiago beef was good.

Could just be a bad day. They are one the few places that serve breakfast but we ate an early lunch.

The food the great all the time. A large selection of teas, coffees, and frappes. You can have whatever you want on the menu anytime of the day, mean I can have breakfast at lunchtime if I can. The ladies are awesome, friendly, and knows how to keep a busy day flowing smoothly.

The food is good but I almost never want to come back into the bistro because of the customer service. Baristas at times can be very rude and dismissive. One instance of this is when I was ordering once and two of them were holding an entire conversation behind the register as if I wasn’t there waiting to take my order. Then when they were ready for me, they just turned and looked at me instead of saying a respectful “sorry for the wait, may I take your order?” or “thank you for your patience!”. Just the other day I witnessed a small child go up to one of them to inquire about a missing drink and she didn’t even make eye contact with the child, much less acknowledge what she saying. The child then came back to her mother and reported that the barista had “sucked her teeth” at her in response to her asking the question. I too have asked questions and been blatantly ignored. Yes, the food and atmosphere makes for a mostly pleasurable experience, however some of the staff can be very rude and ruin that experience.

Great coffee and food. Usually decent counter service. I would have given it 5 stars if the cleanliness was up to par; the state of the bathroom has been unacceptable the last few times I've been there.

Their bagel sandwiches are delicious and the smoothies are a must try. Ate breakfast twice there on our trip.

Smoothies are amazing. The chips are hot and fresh, so good. Great coffee and great sandwiches and wraps. We stop in multiple times during the week.

Great food and wonderful customer service! Will be back again because the menu is extensive! They have everything here from pastries, coffees, and breakfast and lunch!

Great barista staff n service, but HORRIBLE food. One star because I had to give one.
The Georgia sandwich is dry, pickles w/breaded chicken on thick brioche bread, veggie wrap saturated with grease, chicken tenders dry n tasteless (even with the watered down BBQ sauce option ), Shrimp po boy sandwich was the worst I've ever had. (An insult to a true po boy. All bread, lots of sauce, 5 shrimp, 2 slices of tomato and wilted lettuce). Yes, I had to open it up; all I saw was bread on the plate.
I also would swear they add water to the condiments that aren't packaged, even the ceaser salad dressing. I've never before had runny tasteless ceaser dressing. (Still wonder what brand it was)

How is this place still in business? (I'm guessing by default n location choices)

Also ordered a passionfruit and a watermelon smoothie at $6.00 each and my 12 and 4 year old thought it was gross n asked for water! 🙄

Taking $$/business elsewhere, until they get their act together. I am!!

Small business owners that have crafted their own spin on some sandwiches the salted chips are fresh thin and crisper than most. They took the original potato and thinly slice it fry and sea salted. They are giving the potato chip company competition; now if I could get in sweet potato states side and ISLANDERS sweet potato.

I got a cobb salad and it was very good. The portion size was big and worth the money.

I had a chicken sandwich and it was very delicious
