So, not going to lie…. I originally came to town to eat at the Silk Road Cafe a few doors down for some amazing Korean. But they were closed for some reason. So, I made my way here as a good back up. Place was quite busy. Had to wait on getting a table and it was not a holiday weekend or anything. Manager (or owner?) was very friendly and took our name for a list and got busy looking for vacancies. I ordered the meatloaf, and my friend ordered a salad, but I can’t remember which one. I also tried the Broccoli Cheese soup. Everything we got was very good, and all worth getting again if we couldn’t decide on trying something new next time. Service was good even though they were busy. There was a gal that made rounds just to keep water glasses full, in case your waiter/waitress was busy. Friendly atmosphere. This place is like a combination of a mom and pop small town cafe, yet with the classy feel and service of a newer modern style bar and grill. Would recommend anyone try this place, although I still have to give a shout out to Silk Road (which I’ve also reviewed) as well. Try them both!!

It is a very cool place inside. The drink menu was impressive and had a lot of unique items. We had breakfast, although I would love to come back and try the lunch menu sometime. It was busy (which is a good thing) but the service was still amazing and we didn’t have to wait long. Our server was Anna and she was very nice and has a very lovely smile.

It was a nice little relaxing atmosphere. I had the beignet and the sauce was cold. It was still flavorful. I enjoyed the coffee and hashbrowns. Would have preferred thicker slice of sausage. I will be back!

Stopped in for a little pre-game nosh and ordered the cape cod sandwich for the first time. Thoroughly impressed with the turkey, gruyere cheese, spinach, & cranberry mustard sauce, flavor combination and the craisin-walnut bread is unique and delicious. Highly recommend and pairing with sweet potato fries was perfect. Wait time to be seated was quicker than they promised and service along with food to our table was very good and timely. Great staff and management shows in their execution.

The potatoes were SOUR tasting...American fried and the Brule potatoes! They were spoiled! I have eaten there before and always good...but will never go back if a cook doesn't watch food for spoilage!

One of our go-to places when craving comfort foods and they never disappoint. This time I had the pot roast dip and it was fantastic and plentiful. I chose the fruit option over the included fries and even the portion was larger than expected and fresh. Quick service when considering the diverse menu. Place was packed and our wait time was under promised and over delivered. Friendly staff that are truly happy you are there. Recommend the desserts/pastries made on site. Cafe Brule' is perfect for small groups or a casual date night.

Jim is amazing! Jim and all of the partners associated with Brick House and Cafe Brule` have stuck with this town through thick and covid. They are few of the restauranteurs that covid didn't decimate during those two terrible years. And dinner is now back at Brule` and it's great!! Thank you, Jim and Monica, and all the staff at Brick House and Brule' (Stephen and Zach, you know who you are! xo) for keeping cuisine alive in our wonderful diverse town. You stuck in there and we are all grateful! See you for dinner (and breakie-Eggs Benedict) again soon!
