Pure Bean Coffeehouse

This is a wonderfully local, cozy, friendly space. PB makes its own syrups, and their concoctions are creative and pretty decent. I drank a honey lavender latte, and while I wish it was a bit more flavorful, it was still quite good. They also have free WiFi, a very friendly staff, and a self-consciously hipster vibe.

One thing I don't like at all is the required several steps (8 or so) just to enter the coffee shop. I understand it's downtown and in an old building, but it means this place is off limits for people with specific physical disabilities. Otherwise, it's quite a cool, hip place for the up and coming student or young executive.

Great coffee, but when it comes to Pure Bean being prepared, they're not. 75% of the time I go in to get a cup of coffee, the bean I choose has maybe a half cup left and I have the option of getting a cup of something I wasn't interested in, ordering a $6 latte, or waiting God knows how long to receive a cup of coffee so hot that I would end up waiting even longer to be able to enjoy a cup of coffee. Sucks, because I really like their coffee, but I'm not sure how often I'll be going back.

I was in town for a few months and this place brought me so much comfort as it’s hard to find quality coffee and baristas. Seriously all of the employees are awesome but I’ll have a special place in my heart for Heather! Thanks for taking the time to memorize my order and name Heather! Can’t wait to try the new location next time I’m in town

It's incredibly welcoming from the second you walk in. The ambience of the shop is one of a kind. Everything ties in together extremely well. Not to mention the staff is friendly and the drinks are delicious. Even if you aren't a coffee lover, the tea is just as good. Everyone needs to try this at least once. You'll fall in love.

Amazing coffee, customer service, exceeding expectations that were set by another coffee conisour. Simply fantastic. I am a coffee nerd and this is the best drink I have had hands down. They roast their own beans, and offer a unique experience! Loved it!!

My wife and I love to check out local coffee places and get a local feel. We found Pure Bean Coffeehouse since it was close to the hotel that we were staying at. The coffee here is fantastic and they have a wide range of options and types of coffee as well. The Hepburn was absolutely delicious!

Really great espresso and milk steaming. I got a cappuccino that was velvety and flavorful, and an espresso that was bright but not sour or bitter. The drip brews are also quite good. Cool vibes and friendly staff too.

The "Fat Red" latte is delicious! I was surprised and delighted to see that they had a vegan oat bar as well! Decent wifi, and good seating area.

Cool atmosphere! Espresso wasn't the best. It tastes burnt. I prefer the coffee to be lightly roasted, and it didn't taste like Pure Bean does that. They do have cool drinks and unique lattes, though!

Great location with a relaxed vibe. It was late so I ordered a decaf mocha. I won't be ordering that again. Not a fan. My son's hot chocolate was ok. I'll sample a few more drinks for sure.
