Pure Bean Coffeehouse

Wow, what a find! People who truly care about the quality of their products. I had both a cafe americano and a pour over, both were excellent. I also sampled the in-house made breakfast sandwiches. Located in a repurposed dairy building the place exudes uniqueness that would rival any big city coffee house. Even with the charm of the location it is clear that the focus is on the coffee. If you are on vacation and looking for a great cup, make sure not to miss this place.

Great coffee and great service! In my opinion their service is way better than other coffee houses here in Rapid City. The place caters to the local engineering and science school (SDSM&T) so expect to hear students study groups ranging from thermodynamics, calculus, statics, and senior design lingo in the background.

This is a super place to get a quality drink, staff is extremely friendly and knowing-of-all their coffee creations. The flavors are very true to the standard but much more taste because of the in-house makings.

Happy to have a great local coffeehouse instead of getting more butned out on the mega-chains.

ordered a vegan sandwich, cost around $10 and it came obviously pre-made and refrigerated for hours or days. the bread was wet and soggy and food was not fresh at all. black coffee was somehow not great.
the baristas were nice, no complaints about service. definitely felt like a waste of money.

Great service, really friendly baristas, big menu with plenty of options, and fantastic house drinks. I got the Cardigan Latte which features Cardamom, vanilla, and Black Sea salt. This place should be at the top of your list if you’re planning a trip to Rapid City or even just driving through

I’ve been ordering Pure Bean from a distance for quite some time. The beans always arrive within a couple days and they’re always freshly roasted. I adore this company and their coffee, it’s my favorite by a long shot.

This is a very authentic coffee house, by far one of the best I've been to (about on par with Stumptown in Portland). One of my favorite drinks is the mocha. And unlike many coffee House's mochas, you can actually taste the espresso!
Also, the overall atmosphere is very cozy and it is not noisy like most coffee houses.
Overall, a great place to study, hang out, or just enjoy good coffee drinks.

It was 9am and many items were out like biscuits sandwich, only plain bagel and another type were available. They said they have fruits yogurt parfait but turned out they had only yogurt with granola. I asked for hot water and they said they don't do hot water. I'll never come back here and shouldn't tip them either.
