Pure Bean Coffeehouse

This place has the most wonderful aesthetic! I could have spent the whole day here. I ordered an iced lavender honey, coconut milk latte and it was delicious- so good in fact, that I went back a few hours later for a second and to purchase some of their merch.

We went into Pure Bean for coffee this morning. As usual my husband's coffee was great and I had an excellent hot tea. We so appreciate the friendly service, nice atmosphere, good seating arrangement, usually pretty quiet.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome gem! They have a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and great selection of coffee. The bagels go great paired with that morning coffee! They have a nice little selection of pastries to choose from.

Stopped in for an expression - was really looking forward to it - tasted quite sour - was described as “ bright” by the barista. I tend to really enjoy expresso that is bold, complex and smooth. Unfortunately the kind they serve is “bright.”

First time visiting the city, and was told this was the place to go for coffee. Not only was the drip and pour over coffee absolutely amazing, the staff were so friendly and sweet. I’ll be coming back the next few morning while I’m in town!! 5 stars!!!

The staff here were super friendly in the way that they seemed to be trying to get to know you well enough to help you… but not be pushy. Perfect!

My iced vanilla latte was pretty good… though their espresso was a bit more bitter than I prefer. It was well made though.

The quiche was a disappointment though. I ate the veggie quiche… and it seemed to lack any seasoning or flavor. It definitely could have done with some peppers and onions or something.

This is my favorite coffee house in Rapid City. Their coffee is the best! Usually I do not order lattes because they are too sugary but I have take the plunge here. Their unusual latte flavors like rosemary honey are not too sweet. Coffee forward as they say. The food selections have increased and are very delicious. No mass production here. All fresh baked. This is my go to place after Sunday morning yoga. Not too crowded on Sunday morning. I love it.

Best American I had in the Black Hills. I went by myself. I spent $4.61 after a $1 tip. The barista was friendly and we chatted about while they made my coffee. The seating and atmosphere is great for getting a little work done on your laptop. If you need a coffee shop in Rapid City, this is the best choice. Would highly recommend.

The baristas were super friendly, everything was reasonably-priced, and the cold brew was sooo good. If I lived in Rapid City, I would come here all the time. The space also seemed very calm & great for working or studying.

The BEST coffee you'll get in South Dakota - or dare I say, anywhere. If coffee usually bothers your stomach due to the acidity, Pure Bean's acidity is very low, so say goodbye to upset tummy! They have great staff who know their stuff and make you feel right at home.
