Knowledgeable and friendly staff, fantastic coffee roasted on-site, and a great atmosphere! I loved the house made chai, the featured cardamon latte, and of course the espresso. Was happy to find this place as I passed through town.

It was pretty good. They had a lot of very unique options. The environment was very hipster friendly. I personally just wanted a normal cup of coffee. The drip coffee I got was kinda fruity and not really my style, but good. If you're into hipster coffee shops, you'll love this place.

Third wave coffee as it’s supposed to be! Since moving to Rapid City I’ve been moving through the local coffee shops trying them out. I have found several good ones that I will continue to visit, but I had not found any that I would classify as a proper third wave shop, until now that is.
Pure Bean has an excellent style and vibe from the moment you walk in. The two baristas working demonstrated both excellent customer service as well as practiced skill in both the art of pour over as well as pouring a proper latte with good art.
I am a fan and will be back.

Hip, modern coffee shop. I had a delicious honey-lavender coffee. The space feels peaceful and productive. The food was good too! They named the plants, which was nifty.

Even looking for a great cup of coffee on this 3 week road trip and we finally found it here! Excellent coffee after a long day on the road plus a wonderful atmosphere and service made this the perfect end to a great afternoon!!!

Looking for a coffee roaster on our travels and found Pure Bean. The service is exceptional! Loved the barista's suggestion. Made just the way I like it. Also, bought some of there beans to take home. They were so nice to even grind some beans for my camping trip.

Cool atmosphere, great coffee. The barista knew way more about coffee than most I have met and the coffee I had, Fat Red, was really good. Only downside is no food options other than cookies.

Definitely high class coffee. Love that there's very little acidity in the coffee, making it more of what you would find all around Europe. You can also buy beans there or order online. Great vibe.

Sitting at the counter for the first time after many visits, I have a new appreciation for what these baristas & servers do. Such a great latte, delicious food, and a nice vibe. Kudos to you!
