This is the best place for high tea or just for a nice relaxing lunch. Definitely try out the Monte Cristo and grape salad if you eat down stairs. If you have high tea reservations you will love the area to pick out your fancy hat and the special touches. The staff goes out of their way to help you and to make you feel welcome. They have a great assortment of teas and items to shop around as well if you are looking for gifts.

Visited Laura's Tea Room today and had a wonderful lunch. Such a treat with good service to boot. We're already planning our next adventure up the road to Ridgeway!

One of my favorite places to go. Very nice people work there. Good food and beautiful 😍 shop. Variety of teas .

We waited 1 hour & 15 minutes for 2 PB&J sandwiches. We also ordered 2 cold plates of 3 ready made items they scooped onto lettuce. It totally was a wasted experience. My teacup had a hole in it, the chicken in the chicken salad was canned, & our poor ONE server was trying to run interference for all of the hungry tables. Portions were small & prices were not worth what we were charged or had to wait like we did! I gave our experience a 2, bc the pimento cheese was delicious.

I would double the stars. This was my second time for High Tea. The tea, Salad, finger sandwiches, and mini desserts are wonderful. Just love the atmosphere!!! Then browsing the gift shop after is a plus.

Excellent! We were so hungry on our trip but didn't want to stop at one of the chain restaurants. We used Google maps for this place & we weren't disappointed. We had the PBLT (BLT with pimento cheese spread) & the BBLT (BLT w extra bacon). Both were served on fresh made bread w chips.
We were there about 2:30 p.m., so there were only 2 other people. Nice atmosphere. The restaurant is in the back part of a lovely store that sells local items & all kinds of tea, tea pots, etc.
We would definitely go back again if it wasn't 3 hours away.

They have a nice selection of sandwiches and salads. Love the flavored iced tea they have daily. Really friendly staff too. Have not experienced "high tea" yet, but it's on my "to do" list. 😁

It's a nice looking place. However, I waited 45 minutes for quiche and a small salad. My waitress disappeared and never refilled my tea. I had to ask the person who brought my food. On top of that there is only one restroom that had a line so big I was never able to use it in the hour I was there. When I went to checkout they gave me my drink free. But also asked for a tip on a waitress I never saw after she took my order. (I saw her around the the shop though). I took 34 instead of the interstate on my way back from traveling for work. I did this so I could help support small towns and businesses like this. However running a small business is not an excuse for poor service and communication. I wish them the best! Maybe it was because it was easter weekend and poor planning but don't plan on stopping here unless thats the reason you came to ridgeway.

This is by far not only our favorite Tea House we've been to (and we've been to everywhere from Ohio to Georgia), but one of our favorite afternoon-get-aways in South Carolina. The staff and owner make you feel right at home the moment you go through their door. The teas are always brewed to perfection. If a historical building with gorgeous ceilings weren't enough to build the ambiance, you can expect the place settings and delouse food to finish the job. Dessert? Goodness, I have no problem ruining my, "girlish figure" with their Chocolate cake! Dress us, dress down, it's a simply lovely way to spend time away and rejuvenate yourself. A must for any locals and certainly travelers looking to build memories.
